My favourite place to eat in the city! Every meal I’ve had here has been delicious. The chef Mike is the best there is and I am always greeted with friendly servers. This time my server was Ella and she made my friend and I have a great experience. We started with the cheese rolls (my favourite appetizer) and ate them so fast I didn’t get a picture. I also had the Beirut salad and my friend got the Greek, both were fantastic. I got the Mediterranean linguine, which has the best jumbo prawns I’ve had in any restaurant, and the homemade rose sauce is to die for. My friend got the spinach dip and we enjoyed that as well. I finished off with the knafeh which was cooked perfectly and just sweet enough, and my friend got the creme brûlée which she loved. I also had the lady killer shisha throughout my meal and it stayed tasting fresh for the two hours I was there. My coals were changed often without having to ask. Stopped in with my Wife today as we were passing by and had a bit of time to kill. I speak for both of us when I say, WOW. We've been to many many lounges across the country, Layali takes the top spot. As a Calgarian, so happy to have found this place...won't be going anywhere else ever again.

From Mike's fantastic service and personable attitude (and his co workers, she was great aswell!) to the high quality hookahs (Shishabucks) , to the great shisha selection, to the pizza! It was all fantastic.

As business owners ourselves, we can be somewhat critical when visiting other establishments, but Layali was A++. We'd go back whether it be just for food, to hang out with friends, get some work done - anything! Great atmosphere and great people
