I just wanted to say that it’s very rare to have an experience that truly stands out when dining at an airport, or in any establishment for that matter. After calling almost every single restaurant in the Calgary airport with no help whatsoever, I tried LB taphouse. Turns out they didn’t have a public phone number so I called Jugo Juice across the way to ask them if they would mind running over to the taphouse to get the phone number (so shout out to Jugo Juice also). The manager Jordan at LB Taphouse gave his personal cell phone number so that I could call him. He was helpful, kind and truly went out of his way to support my request. I would recommend dining here in a heartbeat, just based on the customer service alone. It is very rare these days to find someone who will go out of their way to make your experience better. I feel that Jordan’s management skills definitely give everyone else a run for their money these days. Thanks again. Next time I’m at the Calgary airport this will be the first...

I asked the bartender for a Moscow mule and sat at a nearby table and ordered Mediterranean salad. The food isn't the issue. It was delicious. It was at bill time my total was at 75$! I asked why. I ordered a second Moscow mule that came at the same time as the bill , she asked the bartender, apparently he made them doubles. I never once asked for a double! And the amount of intoxication I am experiencing right now. One Moscow mule ( I sent the other back) is comparable to one shot. So be aware they upsell and upcharge at will. Pay attention to your bill at this location . If he's giving double shots without asking for clarification he could be giving people alcohol poisoning. Take serving it right again! The server still got her tip and whatnot but she was not happy about it and said she wouldn't involve...

It's really too bad the Chillie's is gone or under renovation. LB Tap House is probably one of the worst places you can eat at the airport. Seat yourself service. It took over 5 minutes to even get a menu. Another 5 minutes to have my order taken. I ordered the Classic Breakfast with a coffee and water. After about 15 minutes I had to flag the server to at least get my coffee while I wait for the food. They don't have any sweetener and offered to get some from the nearby Starbucks. I declined the offer. It only gets better as instead of toast being served with breakfast, they decided to toast hamburger buns. It would've been worth it to go to the other side of the terminal for a better option. Even the line up at Tim Hortons seems like a better idea now. Avoid...

Ordered the “poutine”. While it had the elements of the French Canadian Classic dish, it is far from it. Let’s start with the positives: 1. I was hungry and it was technically food. 2. (Nope that’s it) The cons: 1. Dill flavoured kettle chips?? Why dill 2. Unmelted cheese curds on cold chips 3. There was at no time the need for a fork 4. Green onions with roots. 5. Full size bacon slices 6. The “gravy” was..well… a thick semi viscous sauce 7. My Franocphone friends deemed it “Egregious” As a Canadian I just want to apologize on to all the wonderful Francophones in the country for eating this so call “poutine”. Je suis desole.

This is the only sit-down restaurant in Concourse C, which is why I chose it. The ambiance is a typical airport restaurant, decent when you’ve been flying all day, but not particularly relaxing. Service was friendly, but slow, took a really long time to get my bill. I had the Korean chicken wrap, which was pretty good. The Caesar salad was disappointing though, mainly because it tasted like nothing. Usually Caesar salads have the opposite problem, but I could barely detect any dressing at all. Mehhhh. Overall, fine for an airport experience, but pretty mediocre in general.

Spent too many hours in the airport after some delays and needed to get some food in me! I had a brisket sandwich which had a tasty sauce, lots of pickles and cheese on a ciabatta bun. I picked had homestyle spicy chips as my side which were perfectly crispy (although lacking in the spicy department) and came with a dip that also matched the lack of flavor (fortunately they were so good on there own). Service was good and frequently refilled my diet coke. I'm not a beer drinker but for those interested they offer a large variety of locally brewed beers
