I just had a horrible experience here. I sat down at a table and waited for a few minutes because the sign says to seat yourself. I watched other people who sat down after me get waited on before me so I thought I would move to another table that was more visible. I sat there for about 10 minutes watching everyone around me get waited on, and nobody said anything to me. Then, when someone did come up to me, she slapped a menu down on the table without looking at me and walked away and I hadn’t even said anything. I waited about five more minutes, and still nobody offered to get me a drink or take my order. Finally, a man sat at the table next to me and immediately people were cleaning his table and asking him if he would like something to drink. This frustrated me, so I just got up and left. I am not sure exactly why I was being ignored, but I have a feeling it was because I am a young half-Asian woman. All of the staff who walked past me several times, including the woman who slapped the menu down on my table were white, and everyone who was being served before me despite sitting down after me were also white. This was a deeply disappointing experience as I just wanted to sit down and have breakfast before my flight, but I seemed to be invisible to everyone working at the restaurant. I have been here twice before and had good service so I’m not sure what was happening today but it was...
Read moreWe came here for a quick breakfast bite prior to our flight to Austin.
We checked in here at 730 am, bar and restaurant were pretty busy, we were greeted promptly by the host/what I can assume was the manager.
We were told to sit wherever we want, which is great so we chose the comfy spinny chairs to the right.
Our server greeted us real quick, within the first few minutes of getting settled in, she came with water and talked about the menu briefly, at this time in the morning some of the lunch items like soup and gravy were unavailable, which I mean, I wasn't here to drink gravy but you never know.
We got the Breakfast classique , which came with two eggs however you like, choice of meat, wedges and toast.
I got mine scrambled and tossed with some cheese, additional cost of course, CHEESE ISN'T FREE PEOPLE! I was more than happy to pay, because I'm a baby with my eggs.
These are some of the best potatoes I've had with a breakfast at an airport, highly recommend their wedges.
My only complaint was the toast was a bit dry, but alas that was fixed with peanut butter.
We got coffee as well, which is an all you can drink option.
We weren't rushed out when we did finished, we were invited to stay and drink our coffee and water.
Server was extremely friendly and asked about our adventure.
Thank you for the great...
Read moreWe had a party of 4 that stopped for breakfast during a layover. My wife and I have Celiac Disease so we need to eat gluten free. We were served by Ashley and inquired about gluten free options. She told us initially that they could not do anything gluten free but then said they offered gluten free buns. My wife asked about plain eggs, to which she replied they could do since it wasn’t busy and they could clean the grill. When our meals came out all we got was a small portion of scrambled egg which I estimated to be the equivalent of less than 1 egg and a few slices of bacon arranged on a small plate. We were charged $7.00 each for this which was way overpriced for what we got. We were also both charged for coffee refills but my wife never got a refill, nor were we informed that refills were extra. This was an extremely dissatisfying experience and we had to go elsewhere to get more food. Most restaurants we now experience are very accommodating and present us with at least a few reasonable options. I’m not a chef but last time I checked most kitchens have clean, uncontaminated frying pans that an omelette could be cooked in which is naturally gluten free. I would suggest not eating here unless you want to...
