Sharing is caring and so I will share what I have learned about how much my business is worth to the Little Caesars Pizza at 1705 17th Ave SW in Calgary. The amount is $14.99... and it so happens to be the price of the pepperoni deep dish pizza I ordered. The story goes like this, after work I raced to go pick my my son from school and thought tonight would be a good night for a cheat-day. Sorry, single Dad. Pizza it is! Went to the local Little Caesars closest to me... picked up the usual order and went home. Upon finally sitting down to grab a piece for myself, my son complained to me that the Pizza tasted funny. I proceeded to try a different piece. It was awful. It tasted like a bleachy chemically taste. It was very strong, noticeable, and concerning. Definitely not appetizing or edible. As any responsible parent would do, we stopped eating the pizza... and I proceeded to get cooking in the kitchen (something I had not planned to do). Feeding my son was my priority and of course getting his homework done... lol. I made the mistake of assuming Little Caesars would stand by their products and did not think it would be an issue bringing the pizza back to their location the next day (evidencing all but two pieces were missing--- thrown out), see picture. Upon arriving at the store, I was met by a female representative. I explained the issue and she immediately disappeared to the back area... only to reappear minutes later on the phone. I assumed it was the manager or owner of the store on the other end. She began peppering me with questions... asking me when did I eat the pizza, where did I eat the pizza, what time did I buy the pizza, how come I did not eat it right away, etc... Keep in mind this location is a take out only and had no chairs or tables for people to sit to dine in. She then started to lecture me to say I should have eaten the pizza immediately or called them the same night or drove back to their store the same night. I told her I couldn't teleport or "Beam me up Scotty" to get home and I wasn't about to drive out after a long day of work already. She then mutter things into the phone in a different language (not english). Said there was nothing they can do for me. The end.
Moral of the store: Don't spend your hard earned money where you, as a client, aren't valued. It is not worth your time or self-worth to allow them to treat you like that. For the staff or "Person on the phone" to dismiss a clients concern over $14.99 and not actually care about "what could be that bleachy chemically taste" in their food they serve the public with... blows my mind. I will not be spending my money there.
PRO Tip: Go to Costco... buy a 18" Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza for $12.99 and grab yourself a Hot Dog and drink for $1.50. That will only cost you $14.49 with 50 cents to spare.

Read moreThis is my favourite Little Ceasers location that i have visited so far. The staff at this location is very friendly, efficient, personable and appeared to work well together as a team. The location of this Little Ceasers is convenient. It is on a main road, in a nice community, and there is a pleasant view from the shop and parking lot. The location is easy to get to, its easy to get in and out of the parking lot, and finding parking right by the door was not a problem. The food quality and selection is standard, and what one can expect from most Little Ceasers. Attention appears to have been paid to cleanliness, and Covid health guidlines appear to be being followed. During my visit, there was a steady stream of customers, but there was no line up. Customers orders were served in the order in which they were recieved. You can order ahead to reduce your wait time, and it is possible to have the food delivered to your vehicle. Information for those who have never been to a Little Ceasers establishment before: Typically Little Ceasers food is for 'pick up' only, and they do not have seating for dining in. They offer a variety of hot Pizzas and breadsticks, as well as dipping sauces and soda pop for purchase. Beverages are sold in bottles and cans. The prices are quite reasonable as far as pizza prices go. I personally recommend ordering their 'cinnamon bites', and 'stuffed crazy bread', and of their pizzas, I prefer the 'deep dish pizza.' The spicy cheese sauce is excellent and we personally stock our pantry at home with it, for use on burritos, nachos,...
Read moreI will not be back to this Little Ceasers because of a petty mistake they made. I have been ordering pizzas from here all week as I work with immigrant and refugee kids and we were ending our programs with pizza parties. We try our best as a non profit to provide special treats for the students on occasion that may otherwise not experience it often or ever. Not only did I spend hundreds of dollars at this location in 4 days, my colleagues also spent hundreds at different locations around the city. The staff the first three days were so kind and very easy to work with, however, yesterday the lady was cold and rude. I went and picked up the 6 pizzas I ordered and asked for some napkins (as I had run out of my own which I used all week). She gave me a small bunch and then I nicely asked for more. She gave me a smaller bunch and said “only two per pizza”. First of all that’s so ridiculous as an employee to care that much about the napkin ratio. I was about to feed 30 kids pizzas and was just looking for something they could eat on. But it was also just rude and enough for us not to come back. It’s unfortunate that she couldn’t end that transaction in a positive way. Instead she just ruined it. My organization will not go back to...
