Last week I visit this place , service is extremely very poor the server(smells bad) is totally untrained they don’t know how to serve the food my family not feel comfortable there we never go back that restaurant again i don’t know what the Alberta health service doing. The lady cooking in the kitchen was either scratching her head or was on her phone while cooking!! Shocker it’s an open concept and customer can see lady cooking. Extremely dirty and the staff is probably the worst I have ever seen. The place where they seated us was dirty and when I asked to be relocated She said your food is ready. I am not sure what is the relation between my food being ready and moving to another table.Coming to the food, ordered Biryani-absolute blunder. I barely found edible meat in there it is as salty and chewy. When I told the girl at the counter she just took a look at the dish and pretended as if the conversation did not take place. Not even we will try next time or anything like that. It was extremely offending. The tikka and naan was okay, but expected better. These guys probably live in some other universe and think they can get away with anything. There are many places close by where you can have better food at the same price and wont make you throw up just by looking at the joint.Biryani is not what we call biryani. They mixed white rice in qorma and served. Karahi is qorma not authentic karahi served in Pakistan or India. They have same base for most of the stuff, just change the garnishing and serve. The also need to invest in the their cutlery (jug and glass) and a good dish washer.Staff is unprofessional and very annoying specially the lady who cooks. Last suggestion they should at least have someone who can understand Urdu alteast. English is a far concerned coz they can’t even understand their own native language. We called before going and asked them clearly for how long they accept customers for dine in and we were told that we can come until 9:30 pm. Upon arrival I did go inside and asked if we can dine in and they said “yes”. When we placed order and sat there , we could clearly hear their voices in their language “ why, Kia yaar”. After they served everyone kept coming from inside and kept steering as if we did something wrong. They were also kind of using inappropriate phrases. So so poor. I would suggest if you really want to go this 3rd class restaurant go early or even call and ask loudly “ until when we can come”. We didn’t get food for free, we paid for that but we felt being insulted and paid for that...
Read moreNot worth to order or dine at this place especially due to the low quantity and high prices they have in their menu. Due to their prices and small portion/quantity, you may not find people dining at this place. Most of the time you will find this place vacant. They make money on absolutely small portions. Absolutely low protein quantity. They will cut the chicken pieces to very small sizes. Be in chicken Tikka, afghani tikka, veg dish or any chicken curry/lamb curry, they will fill the small pack with more of their gravy oil and less of protein. Tried few other nearby Indian restaurants in south-west nearby to compare quality and quantity. Very surprised to note that other restaurants prices were similar to little spice for takeouts and most of them even offered 10 percent discount with takeout; and most importantly atleast 50 percent more protein than offered by little spice. To a query whether uber/doordash orders are more preferred by restaurant owners than direct customers, restaurant owners say they are privileged to offer ten percent to their valuable customers, as it is way cheaper than shelling out 20 to 30 percent commission to ubereats/skiptheshes orders etc. Suggestion for this restaurant is to follow other nearby restaurants model, see what they offer in terms of quantity and take out pricing and be competitive to have more regular customers. Do not lose customers by offering low portion of protein (sometimes their staff have even packed with half the usual quantity). Be competitive by offering both quantity and quality and decide on a price in line with what other restaurants charge. It is not worth for any of your clients to buy twice the order due to your lower protein portion in most of your dishes. And hence ordering with you becomes way expensive. Their chicken biriyani is a no no, as it is no way closer to other...
Read moreJust tried this restaurant today for a to-go meal and boy, was it a disaster!!!! The chicken biryani had literally 5 tiny chicken pices and just some spice powder sprinkled over plain rice. It tasted horrible and the chicken pieces tasted raw on the inside. Taste 0/10 Next dish was chicken curry which was again with 5 small chicken pieces, rawish tasting meat and an inch of oil layer on the top. Taste 2/10. Also ordered a fish curry…never have we ever eaten a more pathetic fish curry. Forgot to click a picture before I got rid of the inch of oil layer floating again on the top. Taste negative 5. A waste of money and a spolied meal. The oil seeping from the dishes spilled over into the bag and formed a kind of pool at the base. That’s the kind of food to expect at this place. Not even decent portion sizes and very stingy on the protein. Each container was filled only half. No value absolutely for money paid. First and last visit. I think the worst one I’ve ever visited in a very long while. Try at...
