Beyond bad! The worst service I've come across! Waited for 11/2 hour before we asked how much longer before we're served. Manager got defensive and replied that there's nothing he can do and suggested we go back and cook the food ourselves if we want to eat - quite unbelievable. The restaurant wasn't busy and prioritized the take outs. We left after the rude exchange.

Responding to the Response of my review: It is disappointing when there is no sincere apology for the terrible service we received while dining in your restaurant. Your response is defensive as you "saw on the video" that we were rude to your staff. No one was rude to the lovely young asian girl and the very nice asian woman from the kitchen. The white male waiter was rude and boorish, "you go back there and cook it yourself if you want to eat." And, he continued to raise his voice at us saying it's not his fault and there's nothing he can do.... etc. We were tremendously patient and asked him when our food will be ready after 1 and a half hours. I can honestly say his response is a novel one, as I never had such vitriol from a member in the hospitality industry (in any city or country globally!!) The restaurant being 3/4 full Is not an excuse for the 1.5 hours not receiving the order - I'm sure you would agree with that. I saw another customer unhappy about waiting for his order and your video will certainly show that!! I've just read many of your responses to one-star ratings and you're very reluctant to accept what customers experienced and accuse the rater of being wrong and even lying. As you did with my review, falsely accused us of being rude to your staff and another staff member stepping in to stop it. Saving face this way is petty - just simply apologize for the terrible service and leave it at that, and you not taking accountability...

I just dined here. WOW!

First off the restaurant is so clean and nicely decorated in a modern Asian motif.

The service was utterly fantastic. I was greeted and served by one of the owners, Jim. He was so friendly and helpful with what's fantastic on their huge menu offerings (judging by the other patrons meals, everything was fantastic) I sat close enough to the till and overheard everyone being so complementary of their dinners when paying. Everyone had a smile.

I opted for the Wor Wonton soup and a side dish of Chicken dumplings . They were flavorful and cooked perfectly, and opposed to other Asian restaurants that dry them out and serve them semi warm, the helping of these dumplings is double otherplaces, and at equal or less money than other restaurants!

I even recieved a complimentary appetizer to start, which just was fantastic on its own to aid in cleansing your pallette for the upcoming meal.

The soup arrived and was so, so, fresh, the ingredients were so vibrant in color and piping hot.

These ingredients (unlike so many other places as mentioned) were incredibly fresh. The serving bowl was absolutley filled and I mean filled with Shrimp, Chicken, BBQ sliced pork, wontons, broccoli, green onions, mushrooms, babycorn, bok choy, and more!

It is without a doubt, the freshest, wonderfully prepared, and cleanest Asian cuisine dining establishment I have visited in the last decade!

Pride of ownership absolutley shines through.

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. My colleague and I went there for lunch and noticed a “20% off” sign at the entrance. I confirmed this with the owner before ordering. However, when we were charged, the discount was not applied. We didn’t realize at first because the owner casually chatted while processing the payment.

Later, I double-checked the prices and confirmed that we were indeed overcharged. I went back to the restaurant (only a minute away) to clarify and request a refund. The owner became rude and dismissive, offering instead a 10% off coupon for next time — which I declined since I clearly stated I wouldn’t be returning. He refused to issue a refund, made excuses about being busy, and eventually told me to “get out of here.”

I even had to call the police for mediation. The officer informed me that such civil matters aren’t handled by police, but I could report it to the Alberta consumer protection services. I was shocked by how poorly the situation was handled. I felt disrespected and deceived, and the experience left me feeling targeted and powerless.
