We were the only customers in the restaurant and there were just one or two cars going through the drive-thru, yet each table was dirty with caked on food and dried spilled pop. The self-serve beverage location was filthy and many drinks needed refilling of syrup. There were "Caution - Wet Floor" signs on the dry floor that had obviously been there for ages. A staff person even mosied around the restaurant and pushed in a few chairs, but didn't pick up one piece of garbage from the empty tables. If this is what the front of the restaurant looks like, what does the food preparation area look like???
We ordered our food through the self-serve kiosk, selected that we wanted table delivery of our food and when we reached for the electronic notification disk, each and every slot was empty (in an empty restaurant). We even asked the staff person about this problem with the system and she responded by saying she had no idea about it. No offer of resolution was provided either (e.g. no offer to bring our food to our table, no offer of speaking to a manager, no apology...nothing but an annoyed look).
According to McDonald's CEO John Betts, the self-serve option and new table delivery service were supposed to help offset declining sales for their company by way of offering exceptional experiences in terms of the "personal interaction". Well, this girl's experience of personal interaction was one of frustration and extreme disappointment. I have no plans of returning to this location for a quick...
Read moreThe old day McDonald's is gone, no more quality and speed, that's why I don't go for Macdonalds that often anymore.
[THIS APPLY TO MOST MCDONALD'S IN CALGARY] First problem applies to most units in calgary, order bumped (order taking off the order monitor) right away after customers just order, which result in delay orders to customer, caz the order are not make in order and mean are make with out sequel. For me today, they have everything done on my order but they're not on my tray (only burrito on tray at the time), take them 4 min to realize my order have everything ready (by look at the print out on the tray), what is the point of having those monitors???
Secondly, my hash brown is not on that liner paper that sit on the tray, it sit and touching the plastic tray.
I work at McDonald's when I am a teenager, the rule is more solid those day, we can't take out the order on the monitor until the mean is on the customer's hand (bumped order early cause: resulting in miss order, stuff get lazy and work slower on orders). The old day, we will not place food (eat able parts) on the tray with out liner underneath, also the speed is 1/2 slower then us at the old days (manager or supervisor walking around not...
Read moreAround 0930/10am today May 26, walked in to this location first time and I thought I try with my Mom because it is also close to airport There was this worker at the counter that gave a bad response to me and I just let it go coz I just thought she is having a bad morning already but anyways she should not take it to work or to others. I came in with cheery attitude, smiling and asked nicely on my question .She gave me a sarcastic reply with frowning face 😳👎 Then I paid and she did not even gave my change properly and right there I told her I do not like the way she handle customer service 👎 and again she gave me an attitude and I asked for manager to come out, But in front of the manager I was talking then the person who I had a problem with rolled eyes on me and smirked. I am in an airline industry and dealing with different kind of people and never treated like this one. That worker should not be working there if she don’t know customer service!!! I will not go back to this location!!! Staff and even manager is TERRIBLE 😞 but I guess maybe it’s just MCDONALDS and don’t need to do the job properly 🤔 BUT IT IS STILL A FOOD CHAIN SO YOU SHOULD STILL GIVE THE RIGHT...
