Meltwich Kensington — Restaurant in Calgary

Went in today and tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch Poutine along with one of the chicken sandwiches. First off, I want to give a big shoutout to the woman working the counter—she was absolutely fantastic. I genuinely felt bad for her, as she was handling everything on her own: taking orders at the till, managing Skip the Dishes, answering phone calls, and cooking all the food. She was working incredibly hard and truly deserves more support. Huge respect to her for keeping things running.

As for the food, it was honestly pretty mediocre, especially considering the price—$20 for a poutine. I don’t think that’s a reflection on her at all; I think it’s just Meltwich’s overall standards. The effort was there, but the food didn’t quite...

More like moldwich. Used to eat from this branch often, but never again after getting a grilled cheese with large patches of miold on the bread. Only had time to duck in quickly to complain and the woman at the till asked if I wanted a new one instead. No apologies for the health risk, of course I don’t want a new one after that experience! They have a wonderful menus including veg, vegan and chicken items. The atmosphere is very friendly and amazing. The customer service is very friendly and amazing.
