Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodles is an absolute gem! This place serves the best noodles I have ever had in my life. The chef is a true artist, hand-pulling each order of noodles with incredible skill and precision. Watching them work is mesmerizing—they pour their heart into every dish, and it shows in the taste.

The service here is just as amazing as the food. Julia and Jeremy, our servers, were so kind and attentive. Julia’s sense of humor made us feel so welcome, and we genuinely look forward to coming back just to chat with the staff. They truly make you feel like part of the family.

The food is out of this world. The braised beef and Moolan original noodles are must-tries, and I highly recommend spice level 2 for the perfect balance of flavor and heat. Every side dish we’ve tried has been delicious, and the portions are generous.

A special shoutout to the manager, Yongbin, who goes above and beyond to make every visit memorable. On cold days, he greets us with hot tea, making us feel like royalty. His warmth and hospitality add so much to the already incredible experience.

Oh my god I cannot believe I have never come to this place yet.

There I was walking home from save-on, empty handed, with my tail between my legs because i came to the realization I didn’t have time to cook a full meal. I was getting ready to have water for dinner (it’s midterm season) when I look up and see Mogouyan hand pulled noodles. Which surprised me because I have lived one block away from 17th Ave now for 6 months and never noticed it. The picture on the front looked like everything I needed. I walk in and I’m immediately greeted but the sweetest lady. I order takeout and got the classic bowl. Only took 8 mins which was very impressive. I wish I could attach a picture but I think I was in a trance from the moment I opened broth container when I got home. I blacked out or something. It was everything I needed and took me out of the stress I had been feeling all day. Perfect amount of spice, not too much noodles, amazing mix of flavours, AND THE delicious heart warming broth that I would honestly drink if it was socially acceptable. It was perfect. My friend and I visited last night for the first time. I ordered the beef noodles with pickled mustard, my friend got the classic beef noodle. The noodles were delicious and the broth was very flavorful. Medium spice level was to my liking! The only thing- our server was easily one of the most rude and off-putting servers I have had in a while. She took us to our table and laid down menus and walked away without a word. Several minutes later, she quietly said "Ready?" Since the restaurant was loud, we didn't hear her so we just asked her again what she said, to which she replied in a very condescending tone, "Are. You. Ready. To. Order?" Really caught both of us off guard. Once meals were delivered she never came by to check on us. In fact, the other server working came by to see how we were doing (and she was great! Wish she was our server the entire time). Our server only came by to settle the tab. Overall, the food was great, and I only tipped so that the kitchen staff could get their share.
