Myself, my 1 year old daughter, and my sister and her fiancé went to have dinner here tonight. I have went to this location religiously and even drove the extra 40 minutes to go to this location because I had good experiences in the past and the food was better at this location for whatever reason so I even use Uber eats to order this location to my home at least twice a week. Tonight we sat down and told the waitress my 1 year old had to have food as soon as possible, she was fast in getting my daughters order out but it was past the point of frustration for my 1 year old. My daughter went into tantrum mode and I guess another table had complained about my daughter crying. I was doing everything possible to keep her quiet as I don't like hearing her cry, just as much as the other table didn't want to hear it. I planned on just getting our food to go as it was uncomfortable having the people from the other table staring at us. The server came up to our table and just blatantly told us that there was another table complaining. I then told her we would leave. She proceeded to then act like that's not what she was asking us to do... But what was she expecting? I was clearly sitting there trying to calm my baby down and she would not calm down so in order to please her other tables the other option would be to leave, no? We left and did not get our dinner, I did not get to finish my beverage, and we all left hungry. Clearly no one in the establishment, staff and patrons included have children because god forbid a child cries.    Read moreOur server either didnât want to be at work today or just wasnât interested in us. It wasnât busy but we still waited to be greeted at our table for quite a while. She was serving at the bar as well it seems but failed to let us know that so we could intentionally be patient.
She came up, didnât give her name, specials, or any level of hospitality. Not even a smile. And since we were on the patio, she was wearing sunglasses which is fine but added to the disconnect seeing as her energy was so low. We actually ordered our food through the shift manager because our server didnât prioritize our table and even when we asked for another server to get herâŠshe didnât show up. The table next to us also complained about her poor attitude. They whispered to us âhowâs your service going?â We all just laughed.
Both my friend and I ordered fish dishes and the fish was going bad in both. They remade my friends and it was better but I sent mine back and didnât even bother. I left there hungry and she left half her food on the plate. I was so over it and ready to leave. Our server visited our table so infrequently that we had to ask her if she was our server.
In the end, I was over it and knew I didnât have the patience to wait for her to show up and then wait again for her to actually bring the cheque. We walked up to the bar to pay and that was that. I wonât be back.

   Read moreHad dinner with my husband at this location. Itâs one of the smaller Browns locations. Parking is not great due to its location downtown but we found a spot close by. We really enjoyed the food and drinks but the service was definitely slow for not being busy at all when we went. As we left we noticed it took one table literally 20 minutes to get just their first round of drinks. Definitely not a convenient place for us to come back, admittedly we went downtown just to eat here. Would have rated higher but noticed after we left on our bill we were charged a âkitchen service chargeâ with no forewarning or explanation what it was for or where that money goes. Only $1.75 but as a restaurant owner myself I know these small charges add up to big money if itâs passed on to every customers bill - possibly just a cash grab for the owners. Even if it went to the cooks they should be tipped out by FOH like everybody else does, or pay your cooks better wages. I see no reason why this charge should be on our bill, and when I reached out to the restaurant about it there was no response back. This could be segregated to this location only but beware!
