Me and my girlfriend went for lunch here as we're avid lovers of Vietnamese cuisine the place was very pretty but also not intense in it's decoration or pictures on the walls with a modern vibe brought to the place the service surprised us as we were order and to pay for our food first before it's sent out which didn't allow me to gauge the amount of tip on service or food quality till after the fact. We ordered the beef satay salad rolls and each got a beef satay phó unfortunately there is no photo of the salad rolls but they were made fresh and rolled for the order and tasted amazing and very very stuffed with lettuce noodles beef and carrots. The soup was fantastic we both thoroughly enjoyed it there was a ton of meat with a very good portion of noodles and the broth alone had a amazing flavour ended up drinking it till nearly bursting once finishing the noodles. We will be returning in the near future especially as the meals are cooked in an open kitchen with good food safety and hygiene and very friendly staff of the two working and with 10ish menu items they know what their cooking how to cook it and they aren't messing around and trying to hard or making gimmicks for a larger menu.

Ordered Spring Rolls, Ca phe sua da (iced coffee), and beef bowl (standard pho). Spring Rolls were crunchy, flavourful, nice texture. Okay value for price. Pho was small for price ($11), but what put me off was that the broth was quite sweet - it was off putting. Could have just been a bad day. Came with flank meat and beef balls and was decent quality but could have been much better. Iced coffee was actually the highlight of the meal, despite the non-standard presentation. Coffee was quite strong, slightly bitter, but sweet enough - they added a good amount of condensed milk. Coffee was strong enough that I, as a high caffiene user, still felt quite affected by it. Summary - More expensive than value given. It is more of a take-out place so some of the negatives are explained but the broth being too sweet is a big hit. I can forgive the basic menu and presentation but there's a price premium for the convenience. Not bad but there are better places for pho

I ordered a Vietnamese sub with lemon grass chicken. Here is what I get. A baguette skimmed the top ( the crunchy crust is gone). I can smell the baguette is burnt. So the cook probably think he can get away with it by cutting the top off. It literally looks like someone has took bites off my sandwich. The cashier must be new hire so I don't blame her that much for getting order mixed up and took longer to give me change. At least her co worker was trying to sort things out. But giving your customers imperfect product is not okay!!! Edited : I think they must have given me the wrong order afterall. As I said I got lemongrass chicken, but it tasted more like satay. It was overwhelmingly sweet, soy sauce based. Did not taste any lemongrass flavor at all.

Diners beware. I have been eating at Nam for several years, and their food IS delicious but my order just now was a big shock: the fellow took my order via his touchscreen computer went in the back to prepare food and handled absolutely everything with his bare hands, opening cubboards, going back to handling raw beef (like REALLY handling it full palm) going back to cupboards, noodles full hand grasping. Their website states they are being careful during the pandemic but it is absolutely not what I witnessed. At no point did I see him wash or disinfect his hands. I right away searched up their mardaloop location hoping I could order there from now on but unfortunately it appears closed. Too bad, their food is delicious, and I hope my experience was the exception not the norm, but I don't want to chance catching the 'rona or something else with that kind of poor...
