First time trying Nilas and it was very satisfying!

Food: tried the beef rendang. The beef was flavourful and tender but a bit dry, could have used more sauce. Coconut rice was plentiful and perfectly cooked. Gado gado salad was fresh and the dressing was tasty. Slightly bigger portion of beef and less dry would have made this 5 star for me.

Service: very friendly and prompt. Meal was ready in minutes.

Atmosphere: stall itself was modest, and the seating area in the food court was eclectic and plentiful. Relatively clean after the prime time lunch rush. People were friendly and open to sharing tables.

Price/Value: overall decent value for quality these days. Slightly more beef by even 1-2 pieces would have made it ideal.

I’ll definitely be coming back to try other dishes, the chicken satay and the noodle soups also caught my eye. Would...

Out of all the food stalls in the market, I chose to eat here based on a friend's recommendation. I was not disappointed. My friend and I shared the tossed chicken noodles and the fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. The food was flavourful and comforting, and was reasonably priced when you consider the amount of effort put in to making these dishes as tasty as they were. Nila was very hospitable, going above and beyond to bringing our food out to us and checking in to see how it was tasting. We also shared the 1000 layer cake, which we found out takes over 6 hours to make! Very impressed with the food and heartwarmed to see how much Nila and her husband care about serving authentic, high quality...

Went here in August because I was curious if there's any good Indonesian eateries in Calgary. The place itself is a booth in the food court of Crossroads Market. I ordered their Tossed Chicken Noodles (Mie Ayam) to dine in the food court.

As an Indonesian, I really liked the Chicken Noodles. It's not identical to the one in Indonesia, but knowing that it's thousands of kilometers away from Indonesia, this might just be as authentic as it gets! The owners were really nice as well! You might want to give them a visit if you're in Calgary and curious about...

We'd highly recommend Nila's especially to fans of Indo food who have been out of Indonesia. We ordered Nasi Rendang and Beef Soup, both of which tasted comfortably familiar. Menu prices were reasonable too. Ibu dan bapak were friendly as we exchanged living experiences in Calgary vs Lisbon, where we live. We'd like to taste more available snacks, such as kripik kentang, lapis legit, risoles, but we were already too full. We wish ibu dan bapak success for many years to come.
