Sunday Oct 27 2024 Review 5 Stars The service was great, the food was hot and the price was right. Thanks to CAT! Had Paul's Pizza Special, Ceasar Salad, and Deep Fried Pickles. All tasted GREAT! PREVIOUS REVIEW 1 STAR My goodness, how things can change! What a letdown. We were there on Sunday night to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our two other daughters who were celebrating their 2nd anniversary. A small group of 10 family members. The server presented herself as very uninterested in serving us, and we got the impression she was very unhappy and didn't want to be there. Also unattentive for the entire meal. We were not even asking for a glass of water refill during the entire time we were there. "JH." We've had her as a server before with the same lack of sevice! Noticeably, the portion sizes are getting smaller, but not the price. I would also suggest scraping the Sunday Pasta Special! The salads were warm, mushy, and limp from sitting out too long. (Salads should be served fresh) The various pasta dishes were cold, a gooey sticky mess, and tastless. Admittedly, pasta buffets are hard to do since hot and fresh ones provide the best result. Try something else! For the little 40th anniversary surprise, we were presented with 2 tiny little pieces of dried up brownies about the size of my baby finger. What a joke! And nothing for my other 2 daughters that were there celebrating their 2nd anniversary with us. Service is going in the wrong direction, or complacency has set in! What a waste of over $300.00! We were regulars at Pauls Pizza, but that will change if things don't turn around. PS. Your new menus are a huge mistake. Throw them out! WOW! Where do I start? They get it! Service was Top Drawer! The food was fantastic. Ordered Paul's Special Pizza!!!! The BEST PIZZA I have ever had in many years. Plus, their wings were great! Our new go-to place for Pizza and Wings. BTW, their menu has an excellent variety of food for anyone's taste. GREAT PLACE!...

Great Tasting food, HORRIBLE service. We went there for a birthday celebration 5:30pm on Saturday. The Place was NOT busy (I have worked the food industry, I know busy) we were waiting to see if a few more people showed up, so we ordered drinks to start, those took 15 minutes to get to us. Then we did not see our waitress again until 6:10pm when I asked another waitress to go get ours so that we could order. She came 5 minutes later. We proceeded to order 2 large pizzas, 1 small pizza and 4 appetizers (pickles, potato skins, donair fingers, and a salad) at 7:10 we asked where our food was as we had not even got out appetizers yet. We were told the kitchen was backed up and it was just coming out now (trying to place the blame elsewhere?). A few minutes later the pickles and potato skins showed up at the table.... There was a lovely man walking around and checking on tables about 5 minutes later , and when he came to us we told him our concerns. He said he would go check on things in the kitchen. 5 minutes after that he came out with a lovely woman, (owner maybe?) she asked us about our concerns and we had to say that we have now been there for over an hour and a half, and have only received 1/2 of our appetizers let alone anything else. She told us that our waitress has only put the food order in at 6:30pm (it was now 7:20ish) we still had not received the donair fingers or SALAD at this time (15 minutes minimum since the first 2 appetizers came out). The Lady advised she would buy the table a round of drinks and dessert. Well that is nice and all, but only half of us could partake in that offer as the other half were driving, so no shots (which is what was offered) for them. Also only 2 out of 3 desserts that were ordered were comped.

I have seen other complaints about the service, and the excuse is that they are new and still training, but maybe hire people that have experience in the service industry, since the ONLY way I can see it taking 2 hours to get food, is if the staff has 0 experience what so ever. Also speaking to others after Saturday, the bad service is apparently NOT...

Dead on a Saturday night. The server has been absent to say the least. While she has been struggling to serve the four tables in the whole place, it took over 20 minutes to get her attention to order food. Much more attentive to particular tables. Used to be Mr. Schnapps, but it looks like they just slapped a coat of paint on the place and tried again. Not very welcoming staff, host seemed annoyed we asked to sit in the bar to watch the football game. Our pizzas got to the table, the server left and said she would be right back with plates. She returned with our plates in her hand, chatting up another table while our food is sitting in front of us without plates to eat from. Overheard her tell them she has been accidentally either over charging or under charging customers because she always confused the 3 and the 9 on the payment machine... Talk about professionalism. Had to get up to get napkins for ourselves, which normally I wouldn't be bothered about, IF the server is busy. The ONLY redeeming part of our visit was the pizza. At least the food is good. 10/10 would order pizza for delivery. 10/10 would not eat in - the front of house staff here have better things to do than worry about you. We will be...
