We are from Edmonton and and this was first visit to this restaurant.
From the moment you step into Rise & Dine in Calgary, you're greeted with a warm atmosphere that promises a delightful dining experience. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Beef Benedict, and it was a revelation. The perfectly poached eggs, tender beef, and the rich hollandaise sauce created a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate.
The Kids Breakfast is a hit among the little ones – it's not only nutritious but also presented in a way that would make any child excited about eating breakfast. As for the Shepherd's Pie, it's a hearty and comforting dish that feels like a warm hug on a cold day. The layers of succulent meat and creamy mashed potatoes are a testament to the chef's attention to detail.
The ambiance of Rise & Dine adds to the overall experience. It's cozy yet sophisticated, making it an ideal spot for both family brunches and casual business meetings. And the best part? The food is incredibly affordable, proving that you don't have to break the bank for high-quality, delicious meals.
In conclusion, Rise & Dine is a gem in Calgary's culinary scene. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by for a meal that will leave you smiling long after you've finished eating. Highly...
Read moreThis was a last-minute decision to meet family for brunch, and our first time at this establishment. Surprisingly, it was fairly quiet (Noon on Boxing Day), so parking and seating were not an issue.
This place has the feel of a diner...located on the corner of a busy intersection, country-ish music in the background, laminated menus, walk in and seat yourself...but it is definitely several steps up from diner-level food. The view might not be optimal, but the seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is very conducive to hanging out with friends/family. Service was quick, friendly, responsive.
The food is what pushes it from diner to dining. Don't be fooled by the laminated menus, or the simple food descriptions. Our table of 3 ordered a Rise & Dine Breakfast, Traditional Benedict, and Christmas special Mexi Benedict. Plating/presentation was top notch! Highlights of the 3 meals were tender-crisp bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and 4 perfectly cooked poached eggs with a really good hollandaise (Gordon Ramsay would have been proud!).
Total bill before tip was under $50 for 3 adults, and we all left very satisfied. We plan to go back to try out some of the lunch & dinner menu items. Based on this experience, and other reviews, I don't think we'll be...
Read moreTried Rise and Dine for the first time two weekends ago and I must say first off the server we had was very good. Fast and very pleasant to talk to top notch if you ask me Nepal was his name I believe. The restaurant is clean and bright also have cool charging stations for your phones. We liked this place so much I had breakfast and supper. The only thing I noticed was the heating and cooling was up and down when we visited in the morning. One minute I was hot so I took my coat off then about 5 minutes later it was cold like the A/C was on. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect amount of food. I had the burger and fries with onion rings. While my wife chose the Butter Chicken with butter naan. The burger was on point but my wife was overly excited about the butter chicken. I had taste of her meal I see why as the butter chicken had no level of heat at all. But the chicken was moist nice and tender. Really can't complain to much as this isn't a East Indian restaurant 😆. Highly recommended this restaurant if your looking for a clean restaurant with reasonable priced meals...
