Walked in and were greeted by someone who was sitting at a table and originally thought was a guest, was very odd. Calamari was the best bite would be like 3/5 stars maybe 4. Wasn’t a lot to it basic and cooked well, probably frozen. Too much garnish started to make it mushy. Second best thing was the water. Girlfriend asked if there was apple juice, which they didn’t have but also didn’t offer any other suggestions or options for what they did have. Was very abrupt in their response of no. After that we were brought so many sauces in bottles and condiments it seemed tacky even for a more dinner like vibe we expected. Ruben sandwich - tasted like nothing. My girlfriend thought the smoked meat tasted like spam. The sauerkraut was tasteless and lacking. Nothing on it tasted like anything. I love mustard and thought strong mustard would help … even the smallest dab on a big bite tasted only like mustard. I was familiar with this brand and normally like it but my sandwiches normally taste like SOMETHING. Fries were okay. Definitely bagged. My girlfriends food came out so hot that the noodles burnt her and was unevenly cooked. Her medium rare steak wasn’t even medium rare, it was unevenly cooked and clearly reheated in the microwave. It was medium well in spots, well done in spots, and oddly dry. It wasn’t just edges and centre it was marbled throughout as oddly cooked. The noodles she got were water logged and the sauce seemed very basic and mild and probably out of a jar. We thought that her garlic toast looked great and would be something to save the day… but it was not one bite tasted like a water logged mess of flavourless oil that when I tried it was hard not to spit out. We regret not gripping the bread and squeezing it to see how much would come out of it… probably an ocean. Unfortunately not wanting to cause a scene we paid for this monstrosity eating around half (I ate just over thinking it’d be better, it was not, and she ate way less than half). No one really checked in on us. We just were stopped in by and asked if we were done. We said yes 😂. Despite having so much food left. Staff barely spoke two words to us in this whole exchange. I do not recommend. However we laughed a ton at each others discomfort in complaining. So i guess that’s something. Good for shits and giggles. We got subway after. It was definitely a proper meal in comparison.

First time at Starlite and I was happy to see so many local customers coming in to eat and drink. The atmosphere was different and stressful , the service could have been better. We sat there for a good 15 minutes before our order was taken. The server could have been more friendly. The glass of water seemed to still have someone’s lipstick on there, completely unacceptable and disgusting. The food was delicious, pizza was hot and perfect crust. The wings were crunchy the way salt and pepper wings should be. Overall, I’m glad they have their customers. Will think about going to try other items on their menu.

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday. Had the clubhouse, as it stated the clubhouse was on special as you walked in. It was what you would expect. Prior to ordering I asked if the clubhouse was on special, and was told "for you, it is regular price!". I thought the gentleman was being cheeky, but he really did charge me regular price. Service was good and we were checked on many times, for having a pretty full restaurant, I found that impressive.

Few bad experiences , Called to order a pizza and some girl picked the phone up laughing and laughing , didn't even say hello , I kept saying hello hello. finally she spoke up By this time I was pissed over listening to her laughing with someone . I asked to talk to the owner and she said I AM THE NEW OWNER !! I ASKED THE PRICE on a pizza med , she said 30 dollars . I said no thanks ,. My family has been coming here since they first opened their doors , ,and we come once a year for my moms Birthday , when I called to make reservation I said 3:30 -4 The girl said well which is it 3;30 or 4 ?? I said well we have to pick people up so somewhere between , Who ever that was needs to take a course how to deal with customers . Glad to see Jimmy and few others still working there , No complaints in that department . Food was good , But as we were leaving one of us over heard the NEW OWNER She was talking to another employee and she said "woahhhh $10 tip, thanks a lot for the $10 tip" (rudely) . And while my nephew was at the front paying, she answered the phone told whoever on the phone aggressively to CALM DOWN. She also yelled at one of the employers for interrupting her while counting money and said "you messed up my counting , now I gotta start all over" rudely. As we walked past the owner , my 87 year old mother looked at her and said Thank you have a good night , and this Douch bag woman stood there stoned faced and said nothing I CAN TELL YOU AFTER COMING HERE ON AND OFF SINCE THE THE STARLITE FIRST OPENED THEIR DOORS WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK AS LONG AS THE NEW...

My husband really likes this place and I don't really understand why...I have celiac and can only have their salads or salmon...I have cleaned up my diet and eating really healthy foods and I am avoiding GMO's and MSG. We went in last night , Sat. Nov. 9 and I had the salmon and rice.Started getting a nasty headache before I was even finished and I rarely get headaches anymore. I had the most foul gas for the remainder of the night and couldn't get rid of the headache. The salmon was edible, that is about the best I can say about it and the rice seemed greasy and the vegetables had GMO corn in it, so I should probably have not even eaten the carrots and corn..I had my salad packaged up to bring home and I just had a look at it and it looks disgusting..My pet rabbit won't even eat it! Huge chunks of the hard iceberg lettuce pieces that I would toss in the compost, IF I bought iceberg lettuce..and a teeny little shred of raddichio and some half ripened slices of tomatoe.I told my husband I wasn't going there anymore. The atmosphere could be nice if they didnt have the VLT's right at the doors, so you have to sit and watch some obsessed woman wasting all her money and guarding her machine from anyone else coming in. The staff is very pleasant and that is the ONLY reason I will miss going in there..I guess I could tag along and have a glass of...
