We ordered Royal Pizza for our party tonight, still eating it now!
The delivery was handled by the restaurant so it was not trackable by skip. But skip still notifies you when the pizza leaves heading your way. The order came decently quickly, it took less than 40 minutes from order to plate.
We got the Hawaiian classic and the Royal Special gourmet. They look great. The bake was nice, crispy on the edges and not over or under baked in the centre.
My first bite had me worried as I felt the crust was slightly deeper than I wanted. After a few more bites I found the balance of the pieces was actually great. The round pizza was cut into squares. A little off putting, but serves excelently at a party along other food. You can pick whether you want the cheesy crisp crust, the all topping square or a mix. Another thing to mention is the crust on these has like a crispy cheese on it which makes them edges really good.
I enjoyed the topping level, cheese level etc. always love more toppings. The gourmet seemed to have more, while the classic ham and pineapple had a bit less but it was still a decent amount.
The price was acceptable to me. More than a chain pizza place but not like some of the higher priced neighborhood joints. Inflation had hit the whole industry but I still stress over where prices are at these days for a good pizza. Royal Pizza had a pretty good food and taste value.
I think I will order this again, for the speed of delivery, overall pizza quality and that cheesy crisp edge that tapers to an edge...
Read moreSame problem again today June 1st. Beef pizza tonight with barely any beef, so little sauce I couldn't even taste it. Definitely not even close to being as good as the Sage Hill location. Don't order from here. Disappointing pizza. They obviously didn't learn from my last review below. I also didn't learn and ordered again from them.
Ordered the same pizza today that I ordered twice in the last week. Tonight was disappointing. It was a beef and onion pizza and this time there was a dusting of beef on it. Several times I had to lift the cheese to see if there was any beef as I could not even notice or taste it. With delivery and tip.....$30 for a medium. Disappointing :( Last time there was so much more beef on it and it was great!. Whoever made the pizza tonight (5pm) just earned a 1 start review for the location. Please be consistent because your repeat regular customers like myself will notice the difference. For a moment tonight I almost thought I had ordered from Little Caesars. I also noticed a difference between this Crowfoot location and the one in Sage Hill. Sage Hill loads up their pizzas with lots of cheese and toppings, just like Bowtie Pizza does. If you keep wanting low reviews, and a loss of customers, then keep making pizzas with poor...
Read moreWe’ve been sitting on this review for a few days to decide whether it’s warranted but have come to the decision that this place really is no better than mediocre at best. We really wanted to like this place, we read all the reviews and were so hyped about it, we even planned an entire evening around it after seeing someone promote their spaghetti pizza over social media. While the idea is creative, unfortunately the execution fell short. This has got to be one of the most underwhelming pizza place we’ve ever tried. The flavours were bland for both the pizzas and wings. Yes, we see the attempt for fresher ingredients and more cheese closer to the crust but take the donair pizza, for example, a few cut up tomatoes was just not enough to give it the extra credit.
The biggest thing for us was the delivery to the wrong address. The driver had one job and still got it wrong, then proceeded to argue with us over the phone that he was supposedly here but we had no idea where he was.
85 bucks for two 10” pizzas and 16 wings, that’s robbery even in this crazy economy. If it was the most delicious pizza we’ve ever tasted then money wouldn’t be an issue but it’s no better than an average pizza joint so why bother? We surely...
