Ordered three pizzas for the Family for dinner, now we went hungry. I was expecting a great, quality, gourmet-ish pizza with at least quality ingredients at this price point. What we got is a great looking and smelling pizza, but the ingredients felt cheap. The Salami didn't look salami like ( I couldn't figure out which one is it). I have called to raise my concerns, but Sam ensured me he uses the best quality stuff that's available, but it's hard to believe. He said it was good enough for his clients for decades. I guess I'm the weirdo, when I see World's Greatest Pizza I expect something special, not the same stuff that any smaller cookie cutter pizza place offers.
The Crust and the sauce is great! Toppings low quality and that's my biggest concern.
I tried a few local gourmet pizza places and there are some really unique and great ones out there, but I will not recommend Sammy's Pizza to anyone, that's for sure.
Here's a picture of a proper Pepperoni topping just for reference, that tasteless meat slice we got is Not...
Read moreMy work place, GroupSource recently got us some Pizza and Val, our wonderful events organizer, got me a gluten-free pizza, and overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The crust was much crispier than I anticipated for gluten-free dough. It didn’t have that weird, grainy texture that some gluten-free pizzas can have. The flavor of the crust was a little more neutral, which made it perfect for complementing the toppings without being too overpowering.
The toppings were fresh and generous, with the cheese melting beautifully over the pizza. I went with a basic chicken and mushroom pizza. The sauce was tangy and flavorful, and it didn’t get soggy under the cheese, which is always a concern with gluten-free crusts.
For those who are gluten-sensitive or gluten-free by choice, this pizza would definitely hit the spot. It’s a great option if you’re craving pizza but want to...
Read moreIf you're looking for a pizza place that does it all—pizza, donairs, and salads—Sammy's Pizza is the spot! I recently visited and was blown away by the quality and flavor of every single dish I tried.
First, let’s talk about the pizza. I ordered the Pepperoni and it was pure heaven. The crust was a perfect mix of crispy and chewy, while the sauce was fresh and tangy, with a hint of sweetness. Each topping—from the pepperoni to the fresh veggies—was generously layered and full of flavor. The cheese was perfectly melted, gooey, and stringy in all the best ways, pulling each slice together into a satisfying bite.
Next, I had to try one of their donairs and let me tell you, it was just as impressive. The meat was juicy and seasoned to perfection, served with fresh pita and packed with flavor. The sweet garlic sauce took it to the next level, making every bite rich...
