Second Cup Café — Restaurant in Calgary

This reason for this 1 star review is because this location does not hold up to having accurate operating hours. For one, your google Hours do not align with your actual operating hours and point two, when you have girls who leave at 2:55pm, when you are supposed to be open till 3 pm. It's a real inconvenience when someone walks across campus expecting to get something only to find the store closed because the two employees could really care less and leave early. And when your hours are from 630am. It does not mean arrive at 630, then take another 10 mins to get the place unlocked and operating. Again a waste of time for people who value their time and expect a business to be open at a certain time.

For this, you will no longer receive my business, as this is not a one-time experience. It's DAILY.

And management, please stop trying to upsell a "banana bread " or snack every time someone wants to buy a coffee... you know...

I ordered a flat white last week and it was disappointing. I have two years of barista experience and the drink was not made correctly. The milk pitcher was too big for the amount of milk. The milk was not poured correctly over the espresso, it was basically dumped onto the espresso which is not good for mixing the two and the top of the drink was bubbly. The drink did not taste good and I ended up getting a refund.

I understand that this is a college coffee shop, and part of a chain, but if they are going to be charging almost $5 for a flat white, then they need to be making them correctly and up to service standard. While the service was friendly, it appears to me that the employees are not being trained properly on how to make...

“I ordered three Caramel Correttos and a Chai Latte and asked for an extra pump of syrup and extra hot temperature. Unfortunately, neither request was followed. The drinks were served lukewarm, closer to kids’ temp, and the Chai Latte had no foam, which was disappointing. Additionally, the modifications were not written on the cup, making me wonder if they were considered at all. I usually enjoy Second Cup, but I hope the staff pays more attention to customization request...
