I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Shawarma Palace in Falconridge, and I must say—it was one of the most heartwarming restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. Walking in just two minutes before closing, I expected to be turned away. Instead, I was warmly invited in while the team was still assisting other customers.
Not only did they greet me with genuine smiles, but they also took the time to chat with me about my day, making me feel more like a friend than just another customer. Most places at that hour would be rushing you out the door, but here, it was clear—they’re not just serving food; they’re serving the community.
I noticed a group still dining without being hurried, which speaks volumes about their hospitality. It was a breath of fresh air. A big shoutout to Mahbab for keeping a watchful and respectful eye on the place during closing—ensuring that everyone there was enjoying their meal, not just lingering. Sapna was quick, efficient, and friendly, making the service seamless. And Tariq—thank you for the great conversation and the complimentary dessert! My wife and I truly appreciated that thoughtful touch.
Shawarma Palace doesn’t just fill stomachs—they warm hearts. Thank you for going above and beyond.
"Falconridge Flavor" [Verse 1] Down in Falconridge, there’s a spot I know, Where the spices dance and the shawarmas glow, Doors stay open, even late at night, Serving up kindness with every bite.
[Chorus] Oh Shawarma Palace, you're the heart of the street, Where warmth and flavor always meet. With Mahbab watchin’, keepin’ things tight, Sapna’s got that service just right, And Tariq’s got stories and dessert delight— It’s a wrap of joy every single night!
[Verse 2] They don’t rush you out, no, they let you be, You’re not just a customer—you’re family. Two minutes to close? They still say “come in,” With a smile so wide, it’s a win-win-win.
[Outro] So here’s to the crew, and the food so divine, In Falconridge, you’re a rare find. Keep on cookin’, with love on display— Shawarma Palace, you’ve...
Read moreUpdate 2022-10-06 It’s just keep going downhill. The cashier guy seems to ignore any instructions from its fellow workers. The server guy has been good and called on to the guy twice to get falafel but he ignored. Ans you tell me microwave falafel takes longer than chicken.
Edit: 2019-Jul-27 I had originally wrote my 4 star review but I have to bring the rating down with the recent changes at place. I think they are growing too fast which is great for the owners but at a cost to the quality and service. Went there yesterday and server trying to rush to serve your dishes. As per earlier review they are ignoring now to change gloves and touch meat and vegetarian food with same hands. Meat person did not change gloves at all when handling food, utensils and cooking meat. It’s not a good place anymore for vegetarians if you are concerned about cross contamination. Also the bread they gave seemed stale. Quite a bad taste yesterday. It’s nothing different than any other northeast place where quality is for pennies

One of the best falafal places around. Servers are nice to accomodate to your needs. Being vegetarian, they do ask me if they should change gloves between serving Meat and Falafal. A small thing especially i cannot guarantee how my falafal are handled in back but still appreciate. One less star as they need to get better organized, there is a lot of wait always and a lot of time, i had to leave as only gets 30 minutes for Lunch but have to wait for 20 minutes to...
