TacoTime Mahogany Plaza — Restaurant in Calgary

I have given this location a few chances now and I won’t be giving them anymore. The food is ALWAYS cold which is interesting because they always seem to BURN the tortilla when they press it in their grill. Why are we doing this? No other taco time seems to panini press my burritos.Each time I order a burrito combo and each time it is a stone cold, barely thrown together mess that I end up having to throw more than half of away. The hot sauces even taste different at this location, what is going on here? I will drive out of my way to hit up 130th or even Deerfoot Meadows to get taco time now as this location is awful. I would have thought since they are a chain that all food and prep would be consistent throughout the locations but...

Taco Time Mahogany is a fairly good taco time. Been to this location a few times in the past couple months. I haven’t encountered anything that would make me raise my eyebrows!

The staff here is courteous & friendly. Their service is quick. Their ingredients always seem to taste fresh and their portions are consistent day to day and consistent between other Taco Time locations.

The shopping complex they’re located in can get congested and parking can be a problem. Entering and exiting the shopping area can also be difficult given the limited access points.

I’ve notice lunch time is very busy in the restaurant and the wait then can be longer. This is amplified on Taco Tuesday’s.

I am a fairly computer savvy person, but I find the takeout menu is utterly confusing. I had never ordered online from Taco Time before, and all the stupid add-ons made it very confusing. I wanted to order two combos for my kids and I almost ended up ordering two combos each because I tried to double up on the tacos. There should be a way to add on two tacos to a combo without having to order another taco separately after completing the combo order. All the add-ons are a cash grab, and more of those little sides like sour cream and salsa should be included with the combo price! Not sure I will order takeout from here again We'll see...
