I recently visited mahogany Tim Hortons restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The staff at this location appeared to be unfriendly and their communication was lacking. It seemed that they were more focused on fulfilling online orders, which resulted in longer wait times for customers present in the restaurant.
What made matters worse was the disregard for customer concerns. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was completely ignored. I found it particularly frustrating that the staff members were engaging in conversations in their native tongue, leaving me feeling excluded and unheard.
To my dismay, when I raised a concern about my incorrect order, the staff members began conversing in their native language right in front of me. This further intensified my feelings of exclusion and made me question their professionalism. In a customer service environment, it is crucial for staff members to communicate effectively and respectfully, especially when addressing customer concerns.
In a professional setting, it is generally considered impolite and unprofessional to speak to colleagues in a language that is not understood by customers present. This can create an uncomfortable environment for customers who may feel excluded or ignored. Effective communication is essential in providing excellent customer service, and it is important for staff members to be mindful of this.
Despite my repeated attempts to speak with the manager, she never made an appearance and I continued to be ignored. This lack of attention to customer satisfaction and the dismissive attitude towards my concerns left a negative impression.
I hope that Tim Hortons takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues at this particular location. Customers should feel valued and heard, regardless of the language they speak or any other factors. It is crucial for staff members to be aware of their language use and ensure that customers feel included and respected. By prioritizing effective communication and avoiding exclusive conversations, Tim Hortons can enhance the customer experience and provide...
Read moreI wish there was negative star ratings for situations like this. Please residents of mahogany do not support this excuse for a business. I have never had such repeat terrible experiences at a tim hortons in my life. We have been several times since it opened. The first time we went they were out of crispy chicken and said it would be at least 15 minutes for them to prepare it. This was after 11am which in my opinion is lunch time. The next time we went they were out of eggs. Out of eggs?!?!? This is all you do tim hortons, you make breakfast sandwihches for people, how in the hell are you out of eggs. The time after that we ordered a bacon and egg breakfast sandwhich and they forgot to put the bacon on!!! I just went again this morning and made two orders both with potato wedges however as usual they were "out of potato wedges". I also ordered a crispy chicken sandwhich and while I was waiting they told me that they "just ran out of crispy chicken". Again this is at 1130 am, you haven't even hit your lunch rush yet! This is the last straw for me, I will not be returning and will be taking my business to the auburn bay location moving forward. Whoever manages this place needs to pull...
Read moreWhat a poor service... It's gotta be out there with the most poor service that I have received in Tim Hortons. It is 8/25/2020 7:30am, I ordered 2 sausage BELTs. After waiting for 15 mins I asked what's happening with my bagels.... Nobody got urgent, they just prepared 2 of them as if I had just ordered them. After waiting for another 3 mins one of the ladies just dropped it on aside without any announcements and left. I had exactly 1 napkin for both bagels and no ketchup. By the time my wife was asking for them for another 2 mins I had realised the bagels are not BELT but plain (no vegetables in there) When we addressed that they started doing them as of we had just had them ordered. After she throw those in the counter top and I had to take them to go I had realized she made them with bacon instead of sausage. This has to be THE POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE in any Tim Hortons that we've been in the country. And to top it all off, there was not a single apology or remorse in absolutely no way. To think that this is happening in our beautiful community makes me sad. Would not...
