I drove all the way from south 1 hour drive, the customer service was extremly bad unprofessional people working, non of the workers greeted or smiled at us. Especially the girl named Daniel she was extremly unprofessional and rude very bad customer service!!! They didn't even offer us to try little samples knowing the fact that we didn't know which ones are good. We asked which ones are good and tasty, shhe ignored the questions. she was just not very helpful, she kept getting annoyed and irritated when we asked her the questions about the pastries. i believe they did not speak good english. She was so busy trying to clean the area, she had no gloves on also. She kept on rolling her eyes just so she can quickly finish the order so she can continue with her sweeping and cleaning the floor. Very unprofessional. The guy from the back brought brand new fresh baked sweets and bastries to put on the glass display, i asked to get fresh ones from the fresh batch, Danie girl lied and didnt give us fresh pastries from the new batch, said that is special order for customer when it clearly wasn't it was for the store display. I heard her saying no no don't give the new ones finish the old pastries first on these customers. Their pastries are not good and tasty at all just full of cream and nuts on top of them, has no taste to them very burnt and over baked, the bottom of them were all burnt. They were definitely expired knowiing from the taste and how many days they were just sitting there. So disappointed waste of my money! DO NOT GO HERE for arabic or...

I recently visited Tasse and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries and sweets filled the air, promising a delightful treat.

The owners themselves were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just a customer. Their passion for their craft was evident in every interaction, and their genuine friendliness added a special touch to the visit.

The shop offers a wide variety of traditional Lebanese desserts, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The baklava, with its perfectly flaky layers and rich honey syrup, was a standout. The maamoul, filled with dates and nuts, melted in my mouth, leaving a lingering sweetness that was simply irresistible.

The presentation of the sweets was beautiful, showcasing the vibrant colors and intricate designs typical of Lebanese confections. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, eager to explain the ingredients and origins of each dessert.

What also impressed me was the quality and authenticity of the ingredients. You can tell that Tasse takes pride in using only the best, from the pistachios to the rose water, which made each bite a genuine taste of Lebanon.

Overall, Tasse offers an authentic and delightful experience for anyone looking to indulge in traditional Lebanese sweets. Whether you're a long-time fan of these desserts or trying them for the first time, this shop is a must-visit. Highly...

UPDATE: I’ve had a great experience at Tasse Bakery in the past, especially when I tried their SAJ, which was excellent and truly memorable. However, my recent visit on the evening of March 26th left me very disappointed. I asked for a nice assorted plate of Maamoul. At first, the staff member told me they didn’t have any date Maamoul left, only the other types. I said that was fine. A few moments later, she said she had found some date Maamoul that were sitting aside and asked if I still wanted them, I agreed, trusting that the quality would be the same. Unfortunately, when I received the plate, I realized she had used only the old and defective date Maamoul. Some were visibly misshapen, and the taste clearly showed they were not fresh. It felt like she used this opportunity to get rid of outdated stock, which I find dishonest and disrespectful, not something I would expect from a place like Tasse. I was charged full price for a product that didn’t reflect the usual quality or standards this bakery is known for. I lost some trust in the brand that night, and what bothered me most was the attitude, it felt like she simply didn’t care. Would I recommend Tasse again? Probably yes, because they’ve had excellent products in the past. But I hope the owners take this feedback seriously and ensure that customers are treated with honesty and respect every time.

Sahha w Hana. Someone from this place said this to me today. I had to Google the spelling but it means health and joy. First time here today so I asked the guy behind the counter for help as I wanted to try the selections. He grabbed a box and asked me which ones I wanted to try so I pointed to a few as he explained to me what each one is. I wasn’t familiar with any of them except for the baklavas. What a treat these ended up being. Not overly sweet, so many different textures and tastes. I think at some point I was tasting floral notes which is quite new to me. Each one was so well-balanced. You’d think these will be expensive because of how good they looked but no. The price I paid was below reasonable for what I got. And it just makes the food taste extra better when the people are nice too. Definitely coming back.
