Convenient Burger Joint at the Airport!!

This is now my goto when I fly out of Terminal 1 at the F gates. There is not much selection at this part of the airport so this one of the only places you can eat unless you want to head back the the main part of the US gates. I fly to O'Hare 5-6 tomes a year for work and usually fly out early morning during the week or early after noon on weekends. One thing that is always consistant is The Burger Federation. It's a medium size burger place with a bar, so you can eat and get a drink before your flight. It's open early and stays open until the last flights of the day leave. I have eaten here many times and tried all the beef burgers, this time I went to for their chicken burger. The Chicken Burger was a breaded patty with an Aoli mayo, and I got it with a side of fresh-cut fries and gravy. Fries are fries, and as long as they are fresh and salted properly, they tend to be good. The Burger Federations fries are crispy on the outside and soft and hot inside. Just the way I like them. The gravy is nothing to write home about but I like options when i have fries. What I will say about the Burger Federation is that the food is always fresh, the staff are always helpful, and the food comes out fairly fast even when it's busy. Give to a try...

When I was searching for a good place to grab a bite I walked for about 15 minutes when I came across this place, from the moment I walked in I was instantly struck with a happy server asking me to pick whichever seat I would like to sit and as I sat down and looked at the menu I found what I wanted and like magic as soon as I knew what I was going to order the server came to the table, I ordered got my drink and waited about 5 minutes which is faster then a lot of places even fast food places but the burger I ate was like a bite into and entire country, province, city it was like my tastebuds we’re born again absolutely astonishing burger with an incredible view, staff, atmosphere, from the moment you walk in you know you’ve chosen the best place in the whole airport and city

If you are at Calgary Airport or in the Country rather I completely recommend The Burger Federation from your first step to first bite you’ll enjoy it all

Rarely post reviews but warning others with vouchers that this restaurant requires you to tell them in advance if you're using a voucher (no reason was given other than a supervisor must approve the sale). Extremely slow service and food, though server did say that there was a long line for food (it was approx 30 mins for food). Then when we asked for the bill, we said we would use our voucher since our flight was delayed. Server became extremely rude and said that we would need to wait another 20 mins to a half hour for her supervisor. Server was ultimately the one to ring in our transaction. I had to give her my boarding pass and while sorting through my phone to find it, she informed me I was taking too long and she did not have time to wait for me. Would definitely not...
