My recent visit to Dandy Brewing Company was a mix of highs and lows, resulting in a four-star rating from me.
Let's start with the food, specifically the pizza. While the variety of beer was impressive and enjoyable, the pizza left a bit to be desired. The heaviness of the dough and the scarcity of toppings didn't quite match my expectations, resulting in a three-star rating for the food, specifically the pizza.
On the brighter side, the service at Dandy Brewing Company was commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our needs were met promptly. Their knowledge of the beers and their willingness to assist in selecting the perfect brew added value to our experience, earning a solid four-star rating for service.
The atmosphere at Dandy Brewing Company is where this place truly shines. The ambiance is fantastic, creating a relaxed and inviting environment. The vibe, combined with the decor and overall setting, makes it a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy good company or a quiet evening alone. The five-star rating for atmosphere is well-deserved.
In summary, while the pizza might need some improvement in terms of taste and balance, the service was attentive and knowledgeable. However, the highlight remains the fantastic atmosphere that Dandy Brewing Company provides, making it a great place to enjoy a variety of beers in a relaxed setting. Four stars overall, with hopes that the food might match the excellence of the atmosphere...

In recent years, we've started going a lot less owing to the menu changes, among other factors. We dropped by for the first time in a long time today and got the Kolsch beer. The beer was flawed, and the primary smell we got was an unpleasant sulphury egg aroma. Reflecting on this review, which went from 5 stars many years ago to the current review today, I am disappointed, but I can't recommend going back to Dandy again.
Edit: Having tried the pizza again I can't recommend it and have to lower my rating. The pepperoni was soaking in grease leaving the pizza saturated. Sadly this is just a spot for beers now.
I used to be a big fan of the Dandy, but their menu changes have led to me visiting much less. They used to have an inventive and exciting menu with a lot of a variety, and great table service from the wait staff. Now they are just another brewpub serving pizza. The pizza is fine, but so is the pizza from several competitors. That said, the beer remains great and it is well worth a stop. I hope that they will reconsider the move to pizza and restore their full...
Read moreA day in the Ramsay neighborhood calls for a cold brew, pizza slice, and a band playing in the background. Sometimes it does not have to be that complicated. Instead you can just hang out on their lovely patio enjoying the sunshine.
The food was well-prepared and plentiful. You can smell that warm yeasty smell of the pizzas come straight out of the kitchen. It smells like heaven found its way in a brewery. The cider I had was cold, frothy, and hits the spot and a hot summer day. The cider tasted like apples, and sweet salvation. The pizza and cheese knots were very nice. The bites were warm and cheesy but sadly they both had a little bit of char on the bottom which is not the best.
The people there were pleasant and accommodating. They were happy to answer any questions we had and gave some good recommendations on what is vegetarian friendly. This is a good place to plant yourself when you need a break from it all. Enjoy the music, the down-to-earth ambiance, and a refreshing...
