I’ve always had great experiences here and really don't want to take away from my past experiences. But tonight was insane. Whoever was the shorter manager(?) wearing a black tims jacket, black mask, (as she identified Desi/Hindu individual) needs an attitude check and some customer service training. I understand the max capacity limits in store and so did the couple ahead of me but to go out of your way to point them out and make them feel terrible while trying to kick them out was horrendous- all meanwhile not telling any other person to leave, including me and one other person behind. An argument ensued and she still didn’t hold respect or at least go out of her way to directly apologize and offer something to make up for her disrespectful actions. If she was paying enough attention she’d see that the woman had left crying & not only me but other customers leaving upset at the situation she created. As a restaurant manager myself that was super infuriating to see a potential paying customer(human being) treated with such disregard and an argument to even happen. I don’t expect much from leaving a poor review but for management to at least step it up for their customers and readdress their training if that’s how they choose to operate. Super disappointed with your staffing tonight. And even the gall to complain about the situation she created was bizarre and made me feel uncomfortable. Read moreBarb is the sole reason I visit this location. She has recognizable talent for dealing with the insufferable public. I recognize her talents and abilities as I have done the same job and several others in the service industry myself. Since Covid- people have become more arrogant and entitled and abusive to service workers. I left the industry due to it all. I sincerley recognize good service when I see it and there is so much more to be done aside from taking orders and handing over coffees. Barb should honestly be given a raise. She deals with the worst of the worst of people that need coffee to act humane to eachother. She is complimentary, efficient and always has something nice or funny to say. I've been motivated to add several of the other staff to this review. I've had the pleasure of being served by Amanda who is amazingly friendly, I genuinely hope she is aware of how much I appreciate her presence. I was looking forward to seeing her this morning but I was unable to get there. Thomas is awesome as well always polite and friendly and just all around awesome. Imelda has an incredibly welcoming smile. She always seems genuinely happy to see me, it's so nice. Tara Mae is such a sweet heart, she's so kind to me.

Read moreThis place is somehow different to others and disappoints 50% of the time. While there is some nice staff, this store differs from the others I frequent (bowness, 12th Ave SW, Banff, etc.) with food preparations done in the back. We don't know what's going on in the back and being out of customers view, seems to slow things down for unknown reasons. E.g. At the other 3 stores mentioned, if you place a mobile order, you can expect to pick it up at a designated place together with order slip. Either being placed there at the desired time, or while you wait. Great 👍 At this store, due to volume I guess, your order will be placed at a desk you can not help yourself to. You wait, your order is carried right in front of you to this area where it will lay for a long time to cool off. The person then rushes back to the kitchen. No way to get their attention. Also hard to get attention from front staff when they are obviously serving customers. So you just watch you order getting cold while getting more and more disappointed. Today I had asked to warm up the already cold order, which made the person disappear in the kitchen for 2 minutes watching the microwave and give me back a steaming sandwich. They seem to be poorly trained and/or understaffed. An open kitchen/prep are would probably cut times in half and get you your food while fresh. I'm not willing to roll a dice at this place anymore.
