Shouldice Athletic Park — Attraction in Calgary

It's a great place except the fact that the city built this area without really thinking about where exactly will everyone park when all of the venues all being used! They have multiple signs saying no parking or no stopping. The city really messed up on this potentially great meeting space. As well they are building a dome over one of the football fields that may not be able to host a football game as the roof will be to low! Shouldice Athletic Park is a very good indoor soccer facility that has become one of the favourite locations for my son. With its four fields and well-maintained infrastructure, it provides an ideal environment for players of all ages to hone their skills and enjoy the beautiful game. Recent redevelopment. Lacking a bit in the fields department but they've taken measures to increase the usability down the road (ie fences to discourage the geese). Still too many dog owners who are treating the area as a dog park, which it is not, but again future plans may address this when they reevaluate a fenced area and finally improve the pathway connectivity so users aren't using a half gravel back road with motor vehicles.
