I bought a book of coupons and deals from a donation booth for fire burns victims some time ago. We have only been here once and this review is based on that experience only. 1st issue: It had a coupon of a free donair so we decided to go, we bought an extra donair. The coupon for the free donair specified a specific size (its been few months so i cant remember ), we asked if we could get a bigger size since it was so small and pay the difference and he flat out said "No what ever the coupon said it is only that size." Although he is CORRECT, however, i dont understand how would it matter if we are paying the difference.
2nd Issue: Charging Xtra for every little thing seems a bit over, i understand for certain things he has to charge extra, but at this place it seems a bit excessive and is a bit irritating to customers.
0.50 cents for extra hot peppers, pickles, and even turnips , hmmmm. Donairs are small and not filling expecially if u dont want to feel that u didn't eat enough. $2.50 for a 4oz(8tablespoons) extra sauce and $3.50 for a 6 oz(16 tablespoons) sauce, not sure why anyone would get that much sauce.
Seems to be too much penny pinching too much. Give the people a generous serving. Was getting a bit irritating after we kept hearing extra this extra that bla bla bla. My thought was that now are u going to charge me extra for water /air too ? lol
Cleanliness of the store is good, I cant comment on the issue of handling currency and then money as mentioned by other reviewers because i wasn't paying...
Read moreI’ve been coming to Moe’s Donairs for some time now and I just want to state the food has been phenomenal. When I first came, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect as I tend to not visit new locations due to sticking with my go to spots in the city, but I was low on options due to time constraints and decided to give it a shot.
After making my way in, I met with Eddie the owner of the store who has always shown great service and respect when I visit. He always is friendly and socializes with all his patrons that come to visit and order food. Although it’s a small little shop, it offers so much for the type of quality of food they offer and the atmosphere is always comfortable to be in.
Anyone who enjoys or wants to try a donair, I would give this place a chance and try out their food selections. I personally believe anyone who does try will not be disappointed at all. The price point for what they offer is also very fair for what you’re...
Read moreStopped in to try Uncle Moe’s Donairs and honestly, I won’t be back. As soon as I walked in, I was asked, “What do you want?” – not the friendliest welcome, but whatever. I asked for a chicken wrap. Right away, the guy grabbed a big pile of chicken, threw it into an air fryer, and poured a ton of oil over it. I asked what he was doing, and he said, “That’s not for you.” Weird start.
I told him I wanted my chicken off the spit (the wheel), and he said okay — but the chicken he took off it was cold. Instead of slicing fresh or hot meat, he dumped it in a pan and threw it on the grill to heat it up. At that point, I didn’t have high hopes.
When I finally got the wrap, I took one bite and instantly regretted it. The chicken tasted off, the whole thing was greasy, and just straight-up unpleasant. I threw it in the bin.
Absolute garbage. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for decent donair or wraps. Plenty of better...
