Oh my God!, I'm actually without words. I don't know where and what to start saying about Albert's Doughnuts Bake Shop. This is how doughnuts should be done. Doughnuts that are prepared freshly homemade with the freshest ingredients and carefully cooked to perfection for the best doughnuts around in Cambridge hands down, and it shows and tastes with each and every bite. These doughnuts just melt in your mouth. Better than your doughnut chain places bar none! I am a strong supporter of these kinds of mom and pop type small businesses that needs and deserves our support and attention. Tim Horton's, Country Style, Coffee Culture, Starbucks, etc, basically any doughnut chain store doesn't even come close to Albert's Doughnuts Bake Shop.

The doughnuts at Albert's are huge too!, Making Tim Horton's doughnuts look like the size donut for an infant. And Tim Horton's Tim Bits are small enough for a mouse to eat. Albert's Doughnuts Bake Shop style Tim Bits(Al Bits)almost look the size of a Tim Horton's donut! I'm serious! One donut from Albert's Doughnuts Bake Shop is more than enough for me. They are that huge. And the taste and quality are 10/10, 5 star rating!

The service is phenomenal, the people that work there are friendly and amazing. They treat you with the utmost respect. I'm greeted every time I walk through the door. The people that work at Albert's Doughnuts Bake Shop really treat you like family. They really care about their quality and service to the public, and they really care about their clientele.

Please give Albert's Doughnuts Bake Shop the chance! You won't regret it and you have my full recommendation. Once you go there, you'll forget that chain places like Tim Horton's, Country Style, Starbucks, Coffee Culture, etc, ever existed! Albert's Doughnuts Bake Shop puts their chained competitors to shame!

Oh and by the way, all of Albert's Doughnuts are phenomenal. You can't go wrong with which ever one you choose. Also, their is also croissants too and Danishes. Go look and try for yourself and find out just why Albert's Doughnuts Bake Shop is such a donut paradox! Yummy!

Oh also, I almost forgot. Please try to be there early in the morning when they open because everything is made fresh in the morning and they make alot product but they do sell out quickly. There is usually lineups to get in and buy their donuts and other...

Update: I have tried a number of their items now. My favourites -- by far -- are their croissants, especially their Passion Flakie with whipping cream fill and the white icing pecan ones with caramel fill. I don't care for the croissant with raspberry filling though. The Venetian filling is really good in the donuts as well. I really like this place! Reasonable prices too! Fast service! Come early though!

Their donuts are light, fluffy, and fresh. They aren't super sweet. The Boston Cream one was the only other one I liked. The other flavours weren't the best, to me. I will definitely go back and try more though! Customers were quite excited about these donuts.

Tip: Come as early as possible! I got a tip from someone about how quickly this place sells out, so I arrived at around 9:30 a.m., and I was still stunned to see how frequently people came in and out of here. They probably replace their door hinges often! Lol! 🤣

Prices: 6 full-sized donuts for $15.

Dining: Takeout.

Staff: Very nice!

Washrooms: Yes. They have a wheelchair accessible washroom.

Yesterday was my first visit to this hidden gem

It was a treat just to breathe in the baking smells and the service was extremely pleasant and helpful

I purchased 1/2 a dozen doughnuts, all different

Hubby had an apple fritter and a blueberry fritter and pronounced them the best fritters he's ever had

I had a coconut doughnut and it was beautiful, an insanely flavourful square with coconut icing and a coconut cream filling. I'm diabetic so I could only eat a portion of it so hubby helped me out with the rest even though he doesn't enjoy coconut..he loved it

I try not to have a carb treat more than once a day but the lemon doughnut was just sitting there last night so I cut a piece off... As good as the coconut was, this was better. Beautifully iced, perfect crispy exterior, white cream surrounding a sweet tart lemon filling (the other 2 doughnuts were snarfed up by my son and I'm certain they were excellent)

I haven't been excited about a doughnut since childhood when the bread truck came around and mom would let me get a longjohn to share with my 2 sisters..that just baked freshness was such a treat and Albert's has captured...
