Smokin Slice — Restaurant in Cambridge

I had a horrible experience at Ogarit. I love to support local small businesses, unfortunately this establishment is in the 1% of poorly operated restaurants.

I waited 5 minutes before the gentleman at the front of the counter would attend to me. He did not even greet me. I get it maybe, he was busy that's fine.

He had a few slices of pepperoni pizza available, I must say these pepperoni slices only had 2 pieces of pepperoni each. Whatever, I thought lets give it a try I'm already inside. The gentleman asks if I wold like the pizza warmed, to which I request.

He picks up the pizza out of the turn table using his hands places it on the conveyer belt oven. After warming the slices, he places the pizza on metal table and proceeds to place the slices in a brown bag without slicing the pizza in half and without a plate.

I asked if he would give me a plate to eat the pizza off of, and his response was "that's how we serve it, what do you want?" he then appeared irritated that I asked for a plastic plate to eat on.

At this point I decided that I would no longer like to eat the pizza, I was put off by the uncleanly way he handled the pizza initially and the way he spoke to me after I asked for a reasonable request.

I have been to a number of pizza parlours in Cambridge and this is by far the worst pizza parlours in Tri City Region. Please do yourself the favor and spend your hard earned money in a place that respects its customers and handles your food in...

I just snuck a slice of the most amazing shwarma pizza i have found in all of Cambridge on my way home. Ogarit Pizza is easy to find, lots of parking, friendly caring staff. And I have to say, rather fast pick up (15mins from the time I called it in) I'm rather sad that I'm going to have to share this with my husband when he gets home. The crust is crispy, slightly chewy and not oily at all. The flavor on the shwarma meat is fabulous and slightly crispy but still juicy. Lots of topping and just the right amount of sauce so it doesn't get soggy. The extra garlic sauce I didn't see him put in was a bonus!! I highly recommend this pizza. $18.99 for XL with 2 pop.
