Pretty good Wendy's location. Wendy's is Wendy's, you know what you're getting - this review is based on other Wendy's experiences.
Overall the service at this location is very impressive. Quick to take orders at the cash, clean dining room and outdoor patio area. I used to work close-by, and frequented here after they opened. I once spilled a drink on the floor, and they were very quick to clean it up (I apologized and offered to clean it myself. They refused and even offered me a new drink).
Recently I revisited, and had a very unique order due to a new temporary diet restriction. I ordered on a self-serve kiosk, and they made my order perfectly, with no questions, exactly as I was hoping. Even providing a knife and fork without request! The food is great. Hot, fresh, made with care (not just thrown together like at other fast food chains). I've not had a bad meal from this location.
The only issues I've had so far at this location are the self-serve kiosks only work at the best of times. I'd argue 4/10 times coming here, neither kiosk works. But that's a technology malfunction, not staff error. Same with the Coca Cola refreshment station (with all the additional add-in flavors). You're lucky if half of the flavors are working. And while this is a small issue - if your machine is supposed to work a certain way, it should be expected to work that way more often than not. However these are super minor, and easily overlooked. Additionally, the dining room is quite small - likely due to the outdoor patio area being available. But this is an obvious problem during the Canadian winters when you can't sit outside...

Read moreI was at this place a few days ago and ordered 2 classic chicken combos and a chili fries. Pulled up to the 2nd window and paid. I was then told that the chicken was ready and if I could pull out front and it will be ready 5 mins. I did so and listened to Spotify and got lost in time but realized 15 mins had passed. I then drove around back to the drive through which was dead and inside was dead. I asked the lady where my order was and she said "what order?" I then told her I was told to wait out front for mine. She then said "no one brought it out???" Then said, oh it's ready at which point I demanded my money back. She tried to convince me to just take the order but I insisted she refund. After about 7x saying please refund me, I just want my money back, the finally did but had a hard time working the till to issue the refund. No apologies from staff were issued. I must stress they were all indian and all huddled around. The are racist as heck and I think because I'm white not not indian they can treat me like that. This is why there is such a hate towards them. I hope things change and a new management takes...
Read moreExtremely dissatisfied with the resolution that this location had come up with, after albeit an accident on my part. Ordered a meal from this location via the app by mistake as I’m not from the city of Cambridge. When I called this location to see if there was a way to cancel/transfer or refund the order and I was told the only thing I can do to not waste the money I just spent is drive to their store and get it back. I understand tech limitations however I find it extremely hard to believe this is the best and only solution for a customer. I was not offered any other service numbers or contacts and to be honest it took quite a few phone calls to get someone back. Tried to give them a call to get my order number because in addition to the app not allowing me to cancel the order, it also doesn’t specify any order numbers and they decided not to give me a call back as well. Personally, I would skip this location and just drive up Hespeler road for a bit more friendly and helpful service.
