East Side Mario's — Restaurant in Camrose

Want to give a huge shout out to Michelle for the amazing service! I was so impressed off the hop, that I commented that she knew what she’s doing, she must be a manager. As a former restaurant manager, it was apparent. From start to finish, service was amazing, food was delicious. My only complaint was a bit of rusty and a bit of soggy lettuce, but I wouldn’t even take away half a star for that seeing as that was the only complaint between service, food, atmosphere etc in the two nights we were there. Amazing service and delicious food often outshine the small things. Thank you so much for a pleasurable experience East Side Mario’s Camrose team! We have a tradition of making the stop every time we come through from Grande Prairie!

I just wanted to edit as I can’t leave another review but here we are, 10months later, visiting Camerose again from Grande Prairie! Of course we had to stop in for once again another delicious dinner at East Side Mario’s and we were of course served by our favourite, Michelle! Our party of nine was not disappointed one bit with the delicious food, (Hawaiian pizza, Canadian pizza, and meat pizza, kids chicken nuggets and soups/salads) delicious!! Service was top notch as per usual, any and all interactions with the servers from start to finish were positive. Excellent service now a days is more miss than hit and that’s why I can not praise Michelle enough. Always positive, helpful, on top of refills etc. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. This location has gone down hill from the last time I visited. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the food this evening and the service was not the service I expected to receive. The item baked with cheese was pathetic and the lack of sauce on all 3 pasta entrees was pitiful. The create your own pasta baked with cheese was extremely salty for guest 1 and I couldn't even say her pasta was baked with cheese like I have seen it at other locations, more like mildly melted bits of cheese, on a plain salty pasta. I asked the man who brought it out who made a face when I had asked if that was a baked with cheese dish and awkwardly shook his head "yes". Guest two had lasagna and it was lacking in a meaty tomato sauce. I had my favorite dish cheese cappelletii. I have come to know and love this dish, a safe dish to order if you will, that arrived as tortellini and very little sauce. I was saddened. Guest 2 had a pineapple and vodka drink and the second drink was made with too much vodka and then brought to us with a splash of pineapple juice. We complained about the drink and they added more juice. Server was friendly but wasnt around often.

I hope that East Side Mario's Camrose can turn this around and become the place I know and love again. It was not my best experience tonight and with a bill over $100 you should get a good meal and even better service.

Yesterday t'was my first time ever visiting an East Side Mario's for lunch, and I was glad to have stopped by here

Everything is perfect 💙 the overall atmosphere is some of the nicest I have seen in a lonnnnng time

The server Grace is one of the kindest I've had the pleasure of ordering from! Definitely deserves A very well earned tip! Many cheers~

The Lunch Za (lunch pizza) offering you four nicely cut slices and a nice variety of two different toppings (in my case; Mushrooms and Bacon), with your choice of sides of picking, I chose fries of course Hollly molyy, THIS may be one of the greatest pizzas I've ever had in my entire life 💙 the mozzarella and sauce are some of the very finest, especially when served hot, and on top of that, the toppings enhances it as well

The fries are no slouch either nicely seasoned, you could get some gravy to dip them in as an excellent addition to the combo

Overall, for my first time coming here yesterday, this was quite an amazing experience~ 💙 I will definitely BE coming back here for more again!

I give it a perfect 10/10, my seal of approval ~ !
