My partner and some friends went here for dinner, we were starving. It took around 10 minutes to even get drinks at the table, only iced teas and water. There were no straws, so the server just slapped a pile on the dirty table. We ordered an appetizer, and it came at the same time as our entrees which kind of defeats the purpose. The chicken in the fettuccine Alfredo was burnt and charred, same with the patties on my partners burger. In a side dish of onion rings (which costs extra) there were only 6 onion rings of abysmal size. I asked for a refill on my iced tea and the server took it away and never brought it back. All and all, never coming back. Even if we had a better server, 60% of the food at our table was inedible, which makes sense considering they intend on serving belligerent drunks till 12am.
Edit: After talking about it with the people who was with me, there were more issues! The Alfredo had a long, grotesque hair stringing through the entire dish. They also under filled our drinks severely, and still charged us for refills and under filled the refills! It would have been a bigger complaint if I even got my refill! I had to outright ask the server for my drink back, to which he did not say anything and walked away. The service was so, SO slow, but as soon as we asked for the bill, it comes in record time. The servers attitude completely changed after the bill was at the table, as I’m guessing he knew the service was anything but good, so he was trying his very best to squeeze a tip out of us. Just another reason to never...
Read moreFirst dine-in review, family of 4, 6:30pm: Upon entering, it took a couple minutes before my family and I were greeted at the front door. Once greeted, we were sat a table and given a menu, with no mention of specials or recommendations. We waited for 10 minutes before drink orders were taken. Once the food orders were taken, the appetizer arrived soon after. My first zonk, the appetizer was the Bandara Pizza Bread, just pizza dough with mozzarella cheese and off-ranch sauce. We weren't impressed, and won't order again. We preferred the 3-cheese bread basket on the previous menu. The Carnivor penne, Jambalaya Fettuccini, Boston-Size Burger and Pint-Size Cheese Pizza dishes came as ordered, except the parent's food came out first, and the kids had to wait 5 minutes more for theirs. Another zonk. The waiting staffs' service was sub-par, but they were really jolly when it was time to pay the bill, hoping for a decent tip. The server tapped my wife hard with a to-go carton, making a bland joke, treating her like she's his best buddy! My wife looked shocked and unimpressed! When we were leaving after paying, there were a bunch of kitchen staff hanging out at the reception counter, and one of them let out a loud F-bomb! I'm pretty lenient and look past most things when leaving a review, but I know by far this was the worst Boston Pizza experience we ever had. We promise we will never return again to...
Read moreIt's Boston Pizza, so I never expect much, but recently we've definitely noticed cost cutting measures and issues with the overall chain. It's probably unfair to put this on a specific franchise as the service has been great.
We usually order delivery, mostly when we run out of reusable containers. We always appreciated that Boston Pizza provided reusable plastic containers for their take out. They don't do that anymore and you now get the standard single use aluminum containers.
The portions of their desserts were recently reduced quite substantially. I called to see if they accidentally sent me the wrong order, but they informed me that their desserts come pre-sliced and that yes, they also noticed a reduction in size (still same price though).
And finally, their website never allows me to order delivery and I need to call my order in everytime. It's super annoying and hasn't worked properly in months.
I hate to rag on the franchise owner as I'm sure they're trying to run the business as best they can, but their greedy corporate overlords are not being...
