Young staff member literally stopped me from completing my order and walked away to ask a coworker to cover drive thru as opposed to completing the order first. Did not immediately come back. I walked out - their loss of sale. Very poorly handled. Will not go back.
In case the response is not seen via the link here is my feedback
Hello I had a very disappointing experience tonight at your 810 St David St N, Fergus, ON N1M 2L2 location.
I stopped in between 6-7 pm to place an order.
After waiting more than 2 minutes a young lady (brunette, hair tied in a pony tail) finally came over to take my order. I had only just stated my first item the first of what was to be a few items of which she promptly stopped interrupted me to excuse herself and walked to the back at the drive in section to ask a coworker to cover the window. She did not come back of which at that time I walked out.
If this is how staff are being trained then it’s a serious problem.
This was very disrespectful for being cut off but what offend me me more (as this is a growing pattern) is that more focus is placed on the drive through windows vs clients waiting at the counter (I’ve lost count of the locations that this happens that I have visited).
This past weekend at your Milton location on Sunday I had to place my order on a computer, of which the person who placed my items on the counter couldn’t even be bothered to say thank you - but yet again a swarm of people were servicing the drive through.
I have been a dedicated customer of Tim Hortons for over 30 years but I have to say incidents such as this are making me consider changing my preference to other coffee locations.
Tim Hortons was founded on customer care, this is anything but that and to me the foundation of what this corporation was built on has been replaced with a lack of care.
My home town has the same problem, it’s a very...
Read moreOk food, and its a 50/50 on your service. I don't know what the dine in experience is like, but the last two times through their drive through were distasteful. I went there to grab breakfast and some timbits for me and my buddies on the way to their place one morning, and asked for my usual sesame seed bagel with cream cheese. Before I could finish my sentence he cut me off and told me they don't sell sesame seed bagels. Which was fine, I was about to say, instead asking for plain but he was already listing off the other 10 types of bagels they had. I then asked for 40 timbits, and was cut off again before I could tell him the ones I wanted, and told they don't sell boxes of 40 but they could give me 50. So I got 50, and was handed two boxes of 20 at the window. So you don't sell boxes of 40, but I've never seen a box of 25in there. Wouldn't 40 make more sense with boxes of 20? I'm not about to tell your employees off if that's really how it goes there. Either way, the second time, I was on my way home in the evening and hadn't had dinner so I decided to stop by and grab a wrap. My total came to about $12, and I handed the employee a $10 bill and a $5 bill since it's easier for me, driving. She took the money and gave me my water bottle, then closed the window before I could mention the change. I waited for about 5 minutes for my wrap and donut, waiting for her to come back out so I could ask for my $2.80 back. She gave me my things, and I was just waiting for her to maybe realize herself, but I had to mention it before she closed the window again. I might not have said anything for 20 cents, it's just a bit, but for nearly $3, I'm not keeping quiet. Both times there were people behind me in line so I didn't want to ask for a manager or anything to mention their rude and forgetful workers, because other people have...
Read moreCan’t even pay attention to a simple order containing an allergy. While in store I requested a sandwich to have no tomatoes, informed the girl taking my order that there was an allergy. After a painful 3 minutes of waiting for her to put in a single sandwich order, having to repeat it more than once, she stood there for another 3-4 minutes doing nothing before someone else came to make the sandwich only to have the bun sitting in the toaster for another good 4-5 minutes before getting any attention, only to have that person ignore the “no tomatoes” on the screen and apply tomatoes. Then as I told them it says no tomatoes, frustrated, I wasn’t going to wait anymore painful minutes watching them saunter around with no care, I told them I wasn’t waiting any longer and asked for a refund (the manager was right there) only to get a dirty stare FROM THE MANAGER and having to repeat myself before she moved and gave me a refund. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced terrible service from this location specifically and I won’t be bothering to ever try again. It’s supposed to be fast food....
