Mercuri Pizzeria — Restaurant in Châteauguay

Ordered a chicken caesar salad and it was awful, but my experience was worse. It was $16 and I expected there to be a nice chicken breast on there, maybe marinated or seasoned. What came was a few tiny pieces of dry, thin, flavorless chicken. What's worse, the lettuce was all stem pieces (white lettuce) even with lettuce butts. The people I dined with had side caesar salad (no chicken), and their lettuce was nice and green. It looked great. I told the waitress my salad was bad, I pointed out the difference between my salad and their salads. She said, "They got the side salads." So if I had ordered a side caeser salad rather than a meal caeser, which I paid more for, it would have been better? How does that make any sense? Regretfully, I paid for my absolutely terrible salad, which I barely ate, and I even tipped her more than 20% - in retrospect, I should not have tipped well if there was nothing they did about it. I will never come back here, though. Absolutely atrocious that they would do nothing about it after I told them and showed them. The decor is dated but cozy. That's about all I have to say...

I frequently order pick up and dine in occasionally. Tonight we decided to order a couple of steak and mushroom subs, and a poutine to share. I’ve never tried a sub from here. $40 something dollars. I get home and I was totally disappointed. First, I realized it didn’t come with dressing. Opened up the sub and the steak was bone dry and flavourless. I called the restaurant to see if the subs are supposed to come with dressing, she said no and that they’re juicy enough that they don’t need dressing. I told her they were bone dry and all I got was an apology. No offer to rectify the poor quality. Quite the disappointment. I’m usually not picky but the steak was so dry I threw it out and so did my gf. Mercuri’s food is usually so good but I will definitely never order a sub from here again. Not sure if I’m more disappointed with the food and waste of money or the lack of care from...

Food is good (hence the 3 stars) but they have a poor delivery practice.

To put into perspective, they will not deliver past a certain street (even tho most others do at no extra charge)

I live ONE corner street away from where they stop delivery (like literally on the other side of the street) so I offered paying extra for their delivery guy to cross the street, got refused.

So I went out and crossed the street myself as they delivered in a parking lot.

Not that it was a problem for me, but clearly they should review their customer service on that aspect, easy fix, charge a little extra shipping past that point would cover their "extra" distance, instead of just refusing.

So I ended up afterwards ordering elsewhere around the same distance, no delivery fee, no poor response from...
