One of the worst experiences I had in my life, which was motivation enough for me to leave a review at all given it's otherwise something I never do.
I decided to order Salvatore directly instead of how I'd usually order via door dash, on account of the coupons they recently gave out. Specifically, the 10 dollars off any medium pizzas that are ordered via their online webpage. I put in an order at 4:40 PM and found myself wondering where my pizza was by ~6:30 PM. Called their restaurant's "call centre" just to be answered by someone with terrible phone reception, and my kindest attempt to ask the man to repeat himself lead to me being shouted at until I was put on hold for five or so minutes. After this, it was 'answered' again without anyone saying anything on the other end. I've a strong feeling the same receptionist just left the phone on their desk and kept me waiting longer just to salt the wound. Second attempt at a call had someone much kinder tell me that the order was "almost done" and was bound to be delivered.
I waited an extra half hour, just to find myself still waiting with nobody showing at my door. Another call had someone tell me the same thing, which lead to the same result. By this point, I was convinced these people were just looking at a notification on their webpage which simply 'said' the order was close to ready, when in reality they hadn't a clue what was going on at that restaurant.
Decided to cancel my order 3 hours in and just doordash myself some rotisserie instead. They found a driver and got that to my door...
Read moreSo I received a coupon for a free pizza so I decided to check this place out (despite all of the bad reviews) to form my own opinion. At first, I was shocked that they charge $5 for delivery fee (because that is just ridiculous!!!!!!) but still decided to place my order.
After waiting 1.5 hours for a medium pepperoni and cheese pizza and 1 small fry, online it said my order would only be delivered in 30 mins. So in total, 2 hours for a pizza and a fry. Already at this point, my pizza had been cooked for about 30 minutes and on the counter (as confirmed online since you can see the status of your order). So I called the restaurant and asked them what’s going on with my order. The lady told me sorry we’ve very busy and have too many orders. I’m like OK but it’s not normal to wait 2 hours and my food will be cold since it’s already been ready for 30 minutes and it says waiting for delivery guy to pick it up. She said don’t worry it won’t be cold. 15 minutes later I get my food (so we’re at 1hour 45 mins). Of course, my pizza and fries were COLD and you could tell it was sitting on the counter for awhile (because IT WAS). The pizza dough was soggy at the bottom and just didn’t taste good. On top of that, the bag of fries was half full (so I also paid $4 for half of a fry).
I was offered a $5 coupon, which is nothing since that is literally the delivery fee.
Safe to say I will NEVER be ordering from here again. Don’t waste your time and listen to all the reviews online because...
Read moreTo be honest, if I could I would give 0 starts, this place is not worth it all. First of the customer service is the worst, compared to them Bell has the best customer service in the world.
I made an order and wanted to call them to change the time, they dropped the call 3 times. On the third call they told me it's too late you can't move your order to a different time and told me it's my fault I didn't change the time, like how do you want me to change the time if you don't answer... I went in and understood why no one was answering the phone, they're all just talking, literally talking, I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for them to talk until someone finally came and gave me the pizza. The quality of the pizza is meh, but the thing that bothers me the most is the price and size, the size of a medium pizza is like a small pizza at every other place and the quality is not amazing, you can get a way better deal with Pizza Pizza or Dominos.
If you're reading this comment, please don't order here, there's better places that treat their customers with respect and offer a better quality...
