The Gallery - Coffee House & Bistro — Restaurant in Charlottetown

Came in for a coffee on Saturday. I ordered before my group who were shopping around the retail area. I stood and waiting while 3 people were served after I ordered, then the three people I was with got served. Then 2 people after that. I stood a long time. When I asked if I was forgotten about I got a flat stare from the barista who denied I was forgotten and just stated " were really busy" . Proceeded to serve two more people and I stood there an additional 5 or so minutes waiting for my lukewarm latte that cost me over 7.00. Then finally a "sorry for your wait". I stood there a LONG time watching other people being served for a mediocre at best latte with a side of attitude. I get that it's a vibe they're creating here, but for the coffee to be sub par is really disappointing for the cost. Hard never again coming back here from...

This place is really cool and you couldn't ask for better coffee shop vibes honestly. Gorgeous art, amazing building/location.

The only reason I had to remove a star is that I walked in around 930 AM to just order a couple coffees and a Yogurt Parfait, there was only one other family in at the time, and it took 20+ minutes to get the Yogurt..... The girl behind the counter was great and very apologetic and I was patient. The issue is she was the only person running the entire place and there was a kid in the kitchen that I believe was new. After I ordered they also got a little busier and I can't imagine what the food ticket times went to then. Giving benefit of the doubt with 4 stars as tweaks to staffing would make this...

This beautiful cafe is a total gem and must-visit in Charlottetown. Carrying on its namesake’s legacy, the walls inside are adorned with local artists’ work - carefully curated by the owner. Spend some time to admire and/or take a piece of PEI’s art scene home with you! The feel may change depending upon the current collection. Food is delicious and coffee options plentiful - even several sugar-free flavoured latte options! Quite honestly one of the better lattes I’ve had anywhere. The locally made Fritz Chocolates are available on the shelves - made for some great gifts and of course a treat for myself for later. Rich and high quality chocolate with some cute names and...
