Great atmosphere, the employees are great,they kind of let you do your thing. After covid it is nice to still to see a smile while making my morning rounds when I get in to town as they say here! It's by far the best coffee shop that I've seen,the COFFEE is great too. Carrot cake is a definite 10/10...its relaxing and is perfect 4 reading a book, coffee and conversation, theres WIFI 4 your phones n laptops.Its a place you can just be you. It's very much in the vien of cafe de Soleil in Vancover or the 90s Phoenix in Montreal. It's a great place to take a date for coffee or to study.Its my stress free place to go in Charlottetown. I've been going to Timothys for more than three years, and the service and ambiance have gone downhill (more service). I ordered a couple of breakfast bagels the last couple of times, and they forgot to make it (It wasn't busy at all). Plus, the coffee is not the greatest for how much you are paying for it. They renovated the shop, but maybe they should have updated their systems so they can register the orders rather than relying on their memory. I ordered a veggie wrap here today, paid by credit card and added a tip, and after 30 minutes of waiting, including following up once at 15 minutes when a bunch of other customers had already been served before me, they hadn't even started making it. As a result, I was now going to be late to get where I was going so I asked for a refund, and they couldn't refund the credit card payment and only gave me cash for the price before tax.
