My family and I have visited this location multiple times since its opening. While the food quality remains consistent with other Church's Chicken locations, the overall experience has become increasingly disappointing with each visit. This growing dissatisfaction arises from our interactions with the staff, including an individual who identifies himself as a supervisor-in-training, who denied our purchase of a promotional item.
During our regular visits, certain staff members have shown a lack of enthusiasm for their roles. Additionally, we've encountered recurring errors with our orders, such as missing items or pieces of chicken. Over time, the situation has further deteriorated. On one occasion, when ordering a chicken and fries combo, the exchange went as follows:
Staff: "Do you want your fries?" Me: "Excuse me?" Staff: "Do you want the fries that come with the combo?" Me: ".....Yes, please."
The most puzzling incident is tied to the introduction of the 7-Piece Chicken Flavor Feast promotion. Suddenly, the staff began insisting on a "coupon," asserting that customers must present this "coupon" to purchase the Flavor Feast combo. This requirement was nonsensical and entirely false. Having ordered the Flavor Feast multiple times at this and other Church's Chicken locations without such a request, the demand for a "coupon" was both absurd and baseless.
During a previous visit last winter, my family was informed that they could proceed with the order at that time, but we would need the said "coupon" for future orders. Notably, the "coupon" in question was actually a flyer promoting the Flavor Feast combo on one side of the new Chilliwack Church's store location promotion, with coupons for discounts on other combos on the reverse. The flyer itself never indicated a need for its presentation during the purchase of the Flavor Feast combo.
Interestingly, KFC never requires customers to present a flyer or coupon for its Tuesday Special, and Burger King doesn't ask for a flyer or coupon for its 2 for $10 burger combo deals. It appears Church's Chicken wishes to handle things differently.
For our latest visits this year, such a nonsense was insisted by the staff. After engaging in dialogue with the staff and experiencing purchase denials due to the lack of a "coupon," I opted to take my business to nearby KFC and Burger King establishments. This happened repeatedly after subsequent visits to this location, with the hope that the issue would be resolved. It seems that this location's staff may not value certain customers' patronage as highly. Unless this issue is addressed, my family and I will no longer frequent this establishment, considering the numerous alternative dining options available...

Read moreSecond time I've had an issue with this location. First time the food had to be sitting for an hour, chicken was dry, fries were chewy. Had one time in between that was decent, then this last time we just ordered chicken strips. After 25 min we get the tenders and there very white and bland tasting. They blamed it on new oil, but I don't think the oil is supposed to add flavor to the strips. First time I've seen someone have to salt their fried chicken. They offered another batch cooked longer but we had already been in the store over a half hour at this point. Wouldn't go to this location again. The one on south ftaser way is always consistently good, so I know it can be done. That's the wing at the bottom of the basket for comparison, which to be fair was good, and should of been how the strips tastes, as its supposed to be the...
