Noodlebox — Restaurant in Chilliwack

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered coconut prawns, Bombay cheese balls and kids Mac and cheese. The young lady behind the counter told me it will be 5-10 min for my order. So I left and waited outside. Came back 10 min later. Waited 5 minutes and Young lady sees me and goes to the back, obviously realizing she forgot to start my order. Came back to tell me that they don’t have part of what I ordered and asked if I’d like to substitute something. I agreed with the substitute. I stood there for 25 MORE MINUTES. All the while this poor young lady is working the til, clearly inexperienced and inefficient. She was swamped. But in no rush to hustle at all. I felt so sorry for her because there was 2 other adults working with her. One of them was busting his arse at the stirfry station while the other lady walked around fiddling around trying to look busy the entire time I stood there but accomplishing absolutely nothing. Meanwhile there is 5 other parties all standing and waiting for as long as myself. And to top it off they missed my kids Mac and cheese and i didn’t notice til I was 5 min down the road. I was so late for where I needed to be I ended up giving my kid my food. I’m trying to love this place, they were good the first time I went after the just opened and I’ve been 4 times since and I’m dissatisfied every time. This was the cherry on the cake. So tonight we decided as a family to try a new restaurant. I ordered the shrimp chow mein with extra veggies, no onions, no pepper and extra sauce. I would not waste your money or your time. The portions are very small for the price and the food is very DISSAPOINTING. The chow mein was the exact opposite to how I had ordered it. I have stomach problems and can not eat onion and of course the only veggie on it was onion despite paying two extra dollars for extra veggies and no onion. I counted only two very charred shrimp which was also an additional Six dollars. And the most disappointing part was is the noodles tasted like they had been sitting in the fridge for a week. No flavor at all!! None! And to top it all off when my husband called the restaurant to inform them they had made it wrong they did not even ask him what was wrong and instead began to talk over him. He even offered to bring the noodles back in to show them and they said they cannot remake it or refund us! And then they ask us if we would like to pay for a second one of the same dish?! We declined and then as he was getting off the phone they offered him 50% off. We declined-We did reorder but from a different restaurant! We will never go back. Horrible food and...

Our 5th time ordering take-out from this location. First three were great, delicious food exactly how we ordered it.

The 4th time (2ish months ago), the flavour was there but both orders were “dry”, like they used half the sauce they were supposed to. And we ordered familiar items (spicy peanut noodle box) that in the past have been just fine.

The 5th time was tonight and it was the worst by far. Because last time didn’t have enough sauce, my wife and I both added extra sauce as a precaution to the new honey garlic chicken boxes. What we found when we started eating was essentially noodle soup. It was like bobbing for apples trying to pick out the chicken and veggies. Once we struggled to get all the solids out, we were left with a combined half litre of extra sauce in the bowls (see photos).

Very disappointed in the food tonight, not sure if we would ever order there again after two bad orders in a row spending over $40 each time. Gave the service 3 stars, employees were nice but I did also have to remind them we asked for bowls when I saw two boxes prepped for our food when I arrived. I wish I had actually watched them pour the noodle soup in, would have spoke up...
