Only thing I'm not happy about is why it took me so long to try this place. I don't drink cows milk, and they offer oat. Admittedly I was worried, I'd never tried it before! Weird, I know. I was just happy in life with almond, cashew or soy. We both got Caramel Machiattos, hubby's with regular milk. They took a while to be made but the one cafe worker was making drinks for a larger group so of course we didn't mind waiting. We opted to sit at the window, after I took a wander around. When the coffees were ready- not gonna lie- best one I've had that I can remember. We both were so impressed the temp was spot on, the flavour was so good. Oh and oat milk? Makes a delicious hot drink. I had no idea - it's hands down better than almond. I was shook. So yeah, only thing that made me kinda mad was my own stupidity at waiting so long to try this place. I've been a fan of their social media since they opened!
The atmosphere is gorgeous too. This is what a small business with heart and soul looks like. This is the vibe Starbucks and Second Cup etc, can never recreate. They just can't. Sure those places are convenient because they're EVERYWHERE, but places like this are gold. We spent some time next door in the shop too. That's the place to go for Xmas presents.
It's tough making a go I imagine in the coffee house business, and this place has so much going for it. I cant wait to go again. There's a brown sugar latte gorgeous ridiculousness that has my name on it. We will be back...
Read moreDelightful! I simply stumbled across this place when I was walking down the street and am a sucker for small businesses & matcha! My intention was just to grab a drink, however the selection of vintage fashion reeled me in. It was so shop-able and well curated- in the blink of an eye I had already chosen a top and a dress. It’s all in wonderful condition and fair priced. I did get a white chocolate matcha which I had never fathomed such a flavour but it was amazing! The barista that assisted me & crafted my drink was so sweet and kind, which really gave it such a great atmosphere. I lucked out and my visit was during a quiet time, but this is a place where if it were busy, it would be worth any wait! It’s a beautiful space, thank you...
Read moreOne of the best finds in Chilliwack! Located in a house amongst a local goods store and a little shack selling fresh produce, this place was one of my highlights in town. It’s right outside District 1881 which is another must visit area if you’re in the area.
The matcha latte and coffee were superb! Friendly staff. There’s also a nice big lawn with lawn chairs if you like...
