Bought desserts and takeaway dessert for my husband The no washroom for paying customers and being told to go to some pizza place instead??? Someone could have unlocked the âstaffâ washroom for the customers to use. I get the one washroom out of use. I would have ordered coffee but without a washroom and having to already use one, it was problematic. While we were rushing to eat our cheesecakes, several other paying customers were looking to use the washroom too. It was our first visit to your store. We had tried a few other times to go but it was closed. We were exited to be there. Two staff were working. One staff was personable and positive interacting with customers. Both myself and my friend noted the difference after our interaction. Our experience when ordering was that the person helping us looked like we were putting her out there was no smile she just repeated our order with no expression it made us feel like we were taking too long to order and pay. So there was an underlying negative vibe with the bare minimum of customer service. It can be hard to find good staff that care about how they represent your business. If it was just a blah interaction I wouldnât have bothered with doing a review/ feedback. I totally get standing up for your employees. When I later asked her about the washroom she did smile/ smirk as she told me to basically go find the pizza place to use the washroom. Confused and honestly feeling like she enjoyed telling me to go elsewhere felt insulting, I did cut her off as the pizza place is take out only. So there would be no washroom there. Maybe I misinterpreted ? I wasnât going to leave my friend to wander around for a washroom. The washroom issue was not the main issue. I wasnât not rude to your staff. I just said thatâs ok. Iâm not going to go there. Our overall experience was not what we hoped for. A lot of times people experience things that upset them and say nothing. I said something. Some businesses are open to hearing customer experiences and others arenât...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Azzurri Pasticceria, and I must say, it was an experience that left me craving for more. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warmest smile from the owner, who undoubtedly is the nicest person I've ever met.
The first thing that struck me about Azzurri was the authenticity that permeated every corner of the pasticceria. The decor, the ambiance, and most importantly, the flavors, all transported me straight to Italy. It was like taking a mini-vacation without leaving town.
The pastries at Azzurri are simply divine. Each bite was a burst of freshness and flavor that made my taste buds dance with joy. From the delicate cannoli to the fluffy tiramisu, every treat was crafted with love and attention to detail. It's clear that the pastry chefs at Azzurri take great pride in their creations.
What truly sets Azzurri apart, however, is the passion and dedication of the owner. They go above and beyond to ensure that every customer feels welcomed and appreciated. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you can expect exceptional service and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
In addition to the delectable pastries, Azzurri also offers a wide selection of Italian coffees and beverages to complement your sweet indulgence. I highly recommend trying their cappuccino or espresso, as they are the perfect accompaniment to their mouthwatering treats.

Read more10/10 and no less, authentic and classy, beautiful gem of D1881, and can hold its own against any "real Italian" cafes in Vancouver or other big cities. Its not ver large but once you step inside you're in actual Italy "zone", the decor is very classy and tasteful, and the vibe is complete with olive tree, photos, posters, red Vespa model and football regalia everywhere ( including Roma club insignia in the washroom) , small copy of Michelangelo's David on the counter, authentic sfogliatelli and eclairs on display, gelati and a real Italian lady owner, loud, cheerful, strong and colourful personality, just like she should be!
The other staff that works here are of varied nationalities (mostly non Italian) but all are very friendly and chatty and will be happy to communicate or help you.
This cafe is very popular with both locals and visitors and I met some amazing and very colourful people while taking my time here and had some truly entertaining encounters.
The pastries and drinks are superb, and they can make some pastries to order for a group if you arrange with the Owner in advance.
They bake a lot of the staff inside and everything looks and tastes amazing. Also their gelati are real Italian style stuff and have dairy free options too.
Overall highly recommend visiting this place, I genuinely hope that Azzurri will continue being a wonderful community landmark here in our city for many years to come! A special thank you to Stephanie (the Owner) for your magic and cheerful energy and for making this cafe what it is, absolutely special!!...
