Tamihi Cafe — Restaurant in Chilliwack

I used to recommend this place to everyone who came to chilliwack. The previous owner, James, was one of the few owners who truly cared about the people that ate at their restaurant. Unfortunately the owners have changed and I had a terrible experience during the "reopening". The menu remained unchanged so I thought to order the same dish I usually get. Unfortunately the order took an unusually long time to arrive and was cold by the time I received it. I waited for pancakes and hashbrowns to arrive as it was part of the meal that I ordered but when I finally asked the waitress if it was coming she told me it didn't come with either. As I went to pay I grabbed an menu and confirmed that it says that they were supposed to be included. I was then asked if I wanted a discount. I hate to be that person but the fact that I was told that it didn't come with the meal, I was upset enough to say yes. It is sad to see such an amazing breakfast spot drop its high standards. I found out that the previous owner , James, moved to a restaurant in yarrow called "River". If anything id recommend any restaurant...

It was our 1st time here today! I took my 9 and 90 year old son and grandma for a breakfast outing! We were absolutely thrilled about this place! The owner (?) Seen us approaching (slowly lol) and greeted us outside and in a very mannerly and professional way apologized to tell us that the restaurant was full and that he would be happy to call me in 20 min so we could reserve a table.. as he did! It was awesome!

The Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and huge portions with a little extra on the sides! So cute! The decor was a time travel back in time and extremely homey. Excellent service that no one could be disappointed in.

The only thing I would recommend is maybe a small kids and seniors menu would make this place perfect for all ages. Even with that, the server understood our situation and gave a wonderful discount which was very heartwarming to see that they cared!

Just walking in, I knew I loved this place. The decore is right up my alley. Jimmy Dean, the Rat Pack, Shawshank. Then we get served by the nicest lady. Fast to order and buy still with care. The food options range from breakfast to lunch and dinner. With authentic Chinese Cuisine mixed in. I had the 3d clubhouse with potato soup that made me feel like a warm hug in this rainy day. The soup was frothy in all the best ways. My wife had the traditional breakfast with perfect fluffy pancakes, her words not mine. And my son had beef brisket with fried noodles. That tasted better than my best friends moms and she is from mainland China. Honestly the egg mixed in was so full of flavor. My wife and I kept steeling his food lol. Starred in google maps and will come back often. My newest favorite place near...
