I visited Wendy’s today with my 15-year-old daughter. While waiting in line behind a few customers, I noticed clear discrimination when it was finally our turn. The staff member, deliberately skipped us and called another employee to take our order. All the other customers before us were Asian, while we are Canadian — it was obvious we were being treated differently based on our background or appearance.
After placing the order, I stepped out to take a call while my daughter stayed inside to eat. She later told me that the same employee was watching her in a very inappropriate and uncomfortable way, focusing on her clothes and making her feel extremely unsafe. She is a sensitive teenager, and this experience deeply upset her.
We live close to this Wendy’s location, but after today’s experience, we are genuinely concerned for our safety. Because of this, we are choosing not to disclose any personal details. This kind of behavior from a manager is completely unacceptable and disturbing.
Later, I returned to the store as a customer and asked about the employee’s identity and was told his name is balpret and that he is the manager. I want the owner and Wendy’s corporate team to be fully aware of this situation. I am demanding strict action against this manager. If anything like this ever happens again, I will not hesitate to take legal action against the store.
We are regular customers of Wendy’s, but this incident has shaken our trust. I expect a prompt response from the management regarding...
Read moreHonestly just went threw there drive thru ordered a kids meal and 2 JBC, a frosty and a chilli. I noticed a sign saying you had to request single use items. So I request a spoon also when asked if I wanted these itemels, I replied with yes. When at the window I asked why you have to request these items. The girl said new rule something about people are giving out spoons and such when they don't need to. Which to me sounds like an employee problem and not a consumers problem. I left to get to my next destination and realized we had one spoon. For 2 ppl one with a chilli and one with a frosty (would not be a problem if it was one person however it was not.) No straw for the kids meal drink. Imagine having a thirsty 2 year old who just wants her drink. Than when I try my JBC, I find out the bun is stall and disgusting. So you could say I was completely unsatisfied. Than when I call all the manager says is sorry. Does sorry fix the $20 I just wasted???? Cuz in this day and age $20 adds up fast. So now I am completelydissatisfied still hungry and have a thirty 2 year old and still have shopping to do. This wendys needs to reevaluate their staff and their management (since i gave it a 3 star before this experience ) Being someone who worked in customer service for years. This is not how you go about it. Come on wendys get it together, Ronald seems to be a better choice not by much these days but at least you get your spoon and straw...
Read moreFive. Stars for Wendy’s drive-through! This is pretty much everything you can watch from the drive-through experience. Fast, friendly, and serving up the goods. They do have a slight tendency to forget the spoon for my frosty (which is a minor tragedy, let’s be), but I am willing to forgive this transgression. Why? Because their value options are amazing, and more importantly, they serve my all-time favorite, fast food, burger, the one, the only, the junior, bacon, cheeseburger, a.k.a., the JBC! That little square of meaty, bacon, perfection is enough to make me a loyal customer. Even without a spoon for my frosty. But seriously. It’s a frosty, it obviously needs a spoon. Seeing a frosty the first thing that comes to mind should he, “how am I going to put that in my mouth?”. And the first thing a Wendy’s representative should be asking themselves is, “How’s he going to put that in his mouth?”. And the answer is simple, it’s easy, it’s at an arms reach. It’s a spoon. A Gosh darn, wooden spoon. It’s a frosty, the name is synonymous with spoon. Not a fork, not a straw, not the hole through the opening of the plastic single use lid that protects the delicious frosted treat. A spoon. A SPOON. STOP FORGETTING THE SPOON. put that on your t-shirts to help remind your staff. The slogan can read, “Have a frosty! You eat it...
