They should have a -star because this is a -10 not a 1. There used to be this place called “Kentucky fried chicken” maybe you heard of it? It was a little greasy but the food was really good with 11 herbs and spices and now there’s a place called “KFC” and they don’t have any herbs and spices. The last time I ate at one of these places it wasn’t so good either. But recently I was thinking it’s been a while, I could use some Kentucky fried chicken Oh wait, it’s not Kentucky fried chicken it’s KFC.
They no longer use the 11 herbs and spices. I don’t know what they use if anything at all but I’ve never been so disgusted with their chicken and gravy. It’s by far the worst $55 I’ve ever spent in my life on fast food. Even the dark meat was super dry I dipped it in the gravy. And for the first time in my life I actually added spice because it tasted like presidents choice plain brown gravy. Apparently they don’t longer want to sell tasty chicken to anyone and want to close their business because KFC will no longer get my business or any of my family’s business. And with social media the way it is today it’s not hard to close a business especially when you look here and you see the really bad reviews of a place like this. The only thing I can say about this particular KFC was the lady that serve me was pleasant and that’s it. What’s sad was I went through there at dinner time and all the fast food places had lines of cars and KFC was empty, I thought it was closed even though I seen...
Read moreAlways great service, however, went through the drive thru and had a coupon. showed the young worker the coupon and he insisted he had to have the coupon. I said what if I have covid and its on the coupon, he said, " I have gloves on". My thinking is that is great for his protection, but, If I had covid, and it was on the coupon, and he takes the coupon, then his gloves now have covid and every item he hands to the next customers in the drive thru will also have covid. This place obviously doesn't have safe covid protocol and I would say the manager is complacent and not teaching all the staff to be safe in that regards. Just 2 days before, I went through the same drive thru where the girl just looked at the coupon and said keep it, which I thought was a good thing as I wouldn't be spreading covid inside the building if I had it. I say the service is always great here, but, I would say to stay away from here for your own safety until they address this important issue. I am actually a little scared to go back here and would be wondering if someone ahead of me passed on covid to the worker and if the worker was going to give me covid as I am coming next in the drive thru. I mean the coupons are free to print as many as you want? Do they really need them, I watch them throw them in the garbage right after the look at them. UUUGH. Hopefully the manager will address this, then I will go back, until then, I'm staying away for my...
Read moreRead moreMost cashiers (teenagers) are rude and very impatient when placing your order. There was absolutely no line up so why rush? The most rude cashier I had dealt with is under the name Denika. She is only nice and friendly to male customers. Her customer service towards female, Asian and senior customers is beyond 'disgusting'. An employee like her should be transferred to the kitchen to fry chickens and not be placed at the counter that involves customers. There are kind homeless people who are far more deserving of her job. Spruce Grove is supposed to be one of the friendliest community, unfortunately not for this store. This staff looks down on female customers, rolls her eyes when responding to an inquiry, makes fun of customer's body size with colleagues, slams chairs when cleaning, and does not take ownership of her order mistakes -- blames it on the customer. I have been monitoring her behaviour while dining in. She has definitely earned the gold metal for worst cashier ever. I feel bad for all customers (female, Asian, senior) who had to put up with her poor attitude just to buy a delicious meal for the family. I would rather travel all the way back to north Edmonton KFC. Horrible and...
