Decided to give this new primetime location a try since I had somewhat fond memories of previous experiences at their other locations. However, the service, quality, and consistency appear to be lacking at this location. The cashier was confused and seemingly defensive on multiple accounts as I was ordering a poutine from their menu, which left a bad taste in my mouth right off the bat. Not something you’d expect while trying to order. The food didn’t take too long to be finished, but as I waited at one of their tables I noticed that the dining area smelled strongly of sewage which turned me off even more. Despite this, me and my company decided to dine in as that worked better for us. The food itself was decent - we got different flavours of the primetime donair poutine which has the added sauce. Quite good if you choose a flavour you like but it was more overpowering than I remember so I’d ask for slightly less sauce if I were to come back. I also noticed that my friend who ordered the same size of donair poutine had substantially more meat on their poutine - this left me with nearly half the fries remaining and no meat to go with it. This inconsistency may work better for others but it left me rather disappointed. No one at our table finished our meals and the whole experience was a bit of a letdown considering my fond memories of primetime donair in the past. All in all, I don’t see myself returning in the future but I also understand that sometimes these...
Read moreCareful now! Beef donair might have a lot of toppings(fresh toppings are used which is great and should be!) but they LACK how much donair meat they give..Prices are high considering the LOW amount of donair meat they give in each donair. They chop.. yes CHOP the donair meat ( in smaller pieces) maybe hoping we THINK we have lots of meat.. BUT it's a mediocre amount as they are scarce on the meat!. (Watch them when they are preparing) I've been to donair shops that the meat is so abundant it's hard to close the wrap. If you have been to other donair shops then you'll understand what I mean by an overloaded MEAT donair. Sadly this looked like a wrap instead! I won't be going back for their donair wrap but I'll try something else to be fair! ... I don't think there will be much difference because if they are cutting back on donair meat then what else will they cut back on? I should bring a real donair there to compare. .Primetime Donair ( the beef donair) fails.. They admit in their response they chop up meat by using the Canadian Food Guidelines silliness ( admitted defended and justified their chopped small amount of meat with Food guidelines is funny) and I edited this in response to their Food guidelines silliness..😅 The donair looks more like a McDonald's wrap than a donair!... with barely any meat like a donair should look and pricey I might add ..maybe in time they'll change it into a real donair . That's my experience with...

Tldr; too much and too little at the same time.
we had two different poutines, classic and veg/meat: The fries are crinkle cut. A Canadian classic for poutine, although simplistic. The gravy was good! A nice flavour, would go well with a salt and vinegar. Not cheese curds, but a fair amount of "mozza" on top. All acceptable, although I personally would prefer cheese curds.
The veg and Donaire was a bit different. The sauce I had ordered on top was applied too heavy - as if it were a full Donaire -- and as such drowned out all the other flavours. I don't know if there was any cheese. Apparently there was butter chicken flavours, but I had no idea. I could see peppers in the food, but every bite was potatoes, mushrooms and mess. As a result, it was hard to actually enjoy the food.
For the owners, please consider:
Increase the cooking time on fries so they are crispy Add the "additional sauce" on the side
This way the poutine will have flavours instead of being a mess of... Sauce and...
