Wok Box - North Edmonton — Restaurant in Clareview

Not sure what happened to this wok box I’ve been going for years but over the last year it’s just went downhill. The staff are ignorant to me everytime I call or order in store. I’ve always been super polite. Kill them with kindness. Never can get my order right half the time. I like support the business near my neighbourhood but after last night I’ll be making the drive to the Sherwood park or St. Albert location. Called to place and order last night the guy kept cutting me off and not listening to anything I said. And our call dropped. I ended up calling back 45 minutes later as I had to run home. He stated he had already made my order so it’s mow been sitting there cold and soggy. I didn’t finish ordering nor did he fully confirm it, my name or phone number. Then the real disappointment hit when I got home and went to eat after not eating all I was very hungry to say the least. I asked for extra sauce and no green peppers and extra onions in my ginger beef. There no was no onions , no xtra sauce. It was supposed to be sumo size and looked like they just threw it in the box with extra rice. My green onion cakes were literally half raw dough. I had to throw them out. They were inedible. There was a grand opening special on January 21st and 22nd, 50% off for any regular boxes. Definitely such an awesome deal for a grand opening, I bought 2 regular noodle boxes and 2 regular rice boxes, everything was seasoned well with huge portions. Also got an order of the Cheesy Kimchi Fire Balls and those were amazing! Fast quick service and staff was very friendly. Definitely impressed with this Wok Box location.

I ordered Dan Dan noodles with chicken today through skipthedishes and when I put i piece of a chicken in my mouth the heat exploded in my mouth. It was terribly spicy. The whole noodles was red with chilly powder. Look like they put whole half kilo of chilli in one plate of noodles. It's not that I don't eat spicy. I am from Nepal I eat spicy food, that's why I ordered that noodle thinking it will be okay spicy but this restaurant's food is crazy hot. Really very bad noodle.
