I was driving to the airport and stopped at this Tims to pickup breakfast. I went in to order as the order from the app was not going through. When checked about the issue with the app, the person at the counter told me this location would not accept Amex. I figured that could be the issue.
I have ordered the food and when the food was given to me there was one bagel missing. When I checked with the person who took my order, he said there should be 3 bagels. Once he rechecked the order, he apologized that he charged for only 2.
Placed a new order for the bagel that he missed at the first time. He got the order wrong and I was okay with it. One of 2 bagels I ordered was messed up too.
As it was getting late because the lady preparing the food was taking time as there were many big orders, I requested the person who took my order to see if they can help me by preparing my bagel first as I told him I am getting late and had to drive to the airport. This person was okay and he already started helping.
However, there is another person who was giving me "WISDOM" that the orders have to be prepared in the sequence and I cannot ask to prepare mine first. He was talking some other things I could not hear and I am pretty sure he was cussing. I understand that orders must be prepared in sequence. But, if you mess up, you fix it. I did not ask them to skip every order and prepare mine at the first place. I requested them because they messed up my order.
While this guy was giving me WISDOM, he was frustrated. With this frustration, he dropped the food bag that was just prepared by the people inside. Mistakes do happen but this is what happens when you are frustrated at work. A simple smile would make the life of everyone easy.
This person has to learn how to speak with the customers. He was very rude. No wonder why I see so many negative comments about staff being rude and orders were mostly wrong. If this is the case, then there is no way this person would be fitting in the customer service industry.
A big Thanks to the guy who took my order and the lady who prepared my bagel for understanding my urgency and helped me. May be the person who was rude has to learn from these people about...
Read moreIt really shows when owners/management don't care enough to make sure everything on the menu is available on a regular basis. And also reflects poorly when you don't have enough employees but your employees are constantly be overworked and you as the employer choose to leave both lanes in the drive thru open and take endless mobile orders to further overwork an understaffed business.
I come here almost everyday and anything beyond a coffee/tea and donut/muffin is at least a 10 minute wait after ordering. Nothing against the employees. (Except that old baker dude that is always slowly wandering around, taking his time and helping none of the staff that are rushing around him constantly)
There is clearly not enough staff here and probably also because of that lazy baker, I am constantly being told that they are out of things like everything bagels, chicken for the wraps, very common types of donuts, muffins and cookies, ice coffee AND cold brew (both of them during July multiple times a week?!?!)
The worst part is after changing your order, sometimes multiple times because of the lack of food they seem to have available.. you wait and wait and wait and then they get the order wrong.. because they are working at a frantic rate. It's so slow that I have not bothered with the drive thru in over 3 months and now I usually get a coffee and go somewhere...

The next week can’t get a cookie. Croissant. Anyrhing. 730am. Why? The baker didn’t come in!
I have been served coffees with cracked lids here that have ruined my outfits on the way to work. Have burned me. I have witnessed the manager Tanya screaming at employees banning them from opening the window and just horrible treatment of employees for 2025. Who would want to work there? I called head office but they don’t care about their employees as long as they keep pouring coffee and serving donuts for minimum wage.
This morning at 658 am (the store opens at 7am) a man couldn’t wait 2 mins and walked through the drive through and they served him! They put the whole establishment at risk for a law suit as their insurance does not cover people walking through the drive thru. The young female employee wanted to argue with me that they care about their customers so they did this. Well if you care about him then care about his life. Saying no for 2 mins until the store opened is more caring than breaking the rules that are there for a good reason.
They need to retrain the managers of this location or rehire managers. They do not follow up with complaints or fix...
