worst serving experience i have ever had. went here after the beach because posters were saying they were welcoming customers on their patio.. when we got there we were the 3rd table seated.. no one else except 2 other tables. we saw a waitress after 15 mins to take orders. we told her our drinks and the food we wanted and she told us to wait to place the food order and just do the drink order first. IT THEN TOOK 50 MINS for the waitress to come ask for our food order.. AFTER someone from our table got up and asked why we haven’t had our order taken. She then came to the table and said she didn’t think we wanted any food when WE ORIGINALLY asked for food but she told us to wait to take the food order so it was easier on her. Our whole dinner experience took 2 and a half hours when all we wanted was a quick bite to eat. Cashing out she did not bring our bill to the tables like she had done for everyone else and asked us to come inside and “wait for her to divide the bills up so it would be easier for her”. I told her my order and she still over priced and billed me wrong.. had to correct her twice while she was standing at the computer punching in what i was saying to her. I went with a party full of people who tip well and the service was so bad that we all left without tipping a single thing.. worst server and experience at a pub I...

Little bit of a rant...Had reservations at the Cat & Fiddle for 5:30 tonight. ( 6 of us )Ordered our drinks which came in a timely manner. Ordered our meals. Had to wait an hour. 3 of us got our meals. Fish and chips were not available.Had to order something else . The other 3 had to wait. We were almost done our meals when the other 3 started to get theirs . Orders were screwed up. And 1 of us didn't get their meal. Felt sorry for the waiter Chris. It was his second shift working there . Not his fault! I spoke to the owner who was very rude to me and said it is what is, go sit down and I will take care of it! But he did not! Time to pay our bills! The bills were screwed up . Some of us were charged for things we didn't order. The list goes on.. Think I can speak for the 6 of us and say we won't be back again! Rant over !!

The rest of the evening was fantastic! We went to see Scaramouche , Queen tribute at Victoria Hall!

To the owner: We had 2 drinks! And for your information we ordered our food before we had the second drink! Nice try though! The power of social media will take...

Waitress service has never been an issue ( alot of turnover in staff the last couple of months though, which usually is a red flag )food is mediocre, not the same from a few months ago , new kitchen staff??New management??? haven't seen Pat in a couple of months( which is one of the reasons we went) My husband and I have frequented there since they reopened about a year ago but it's never busy anymore so the vibe is gone) except Friday night karaoke, which we are not singers but the only place to go on a Friday). Can't get food after 9ish. Hours are inconsistent, showed up multiple times and they were closed with a sign stating they were closed for different reasons. Was there about a month ago on a Friday ( cuz no where else to go after 11) fights were happening ( apparently a night club upstairs now, we're in our 40's lol so not our jam, we ended up leaving within an hour because of that and we are big spenders) we will not be returning nor will be referring .
