We will call it growing pains which hopefully subsides.
Attended this cozy, out of norm location. Location is fun, looks like an old alleyway to main door. Will be nice in warmer weather.
Greeting by great staff and likely the owner/manager who has set aside the seating for our large group.
Staff were very friendly but as we found out, unfamiliar with logistical requirements for ordering food.
An example is two ladies ordered speciality. Apparently it requires a process to record for kitchen to prepare. Needless to say, others had received and completed meal before they were even served. Once served, chicken was substituted for chicken wings. Again, likely growing pains which can be overcome- fingers crossed.
Drinks were fine and reasonably priced.
Menu is typical pub food with couple entrees which should be tried.
Will give it another go in 2026 and see how it goes from there and update accordingly.
So, worth a try if in a hurry, yes, but...
Read moreI ordered the grilled cheese only to find out (after a very long wait even though the resturant was EMPTY) that the chef actually didn't know how to make the grilled cheese (?!) and I was then asked to order something else off the menu. Why wasn't I told this from the beginning prior to waiting for my meal?! Why is there only one cook in the kitchen if they do not know how to make everything on the menu? My friend received their food while I had to sit and watch them eat while my new meal was being made. Another long wait, and by the time I received my Tuscan chicken sandwich, my friend was done eating. The point of going out to restaurant together is so we can eat TOGETHER. Not a good experience. Was very disappointed to find out that the Tuscan chicken sandwich wasn't even made correctly and was missing ingredients listed on the menu. Not worth the price I had to pay. Food was not good and service was slow. Very...
Read moreI wanted to like it - the front entrance is so cute - but everything was just off. No music at all, no ambiance, just the repeated blare of "SIDE DOOR OPEN" from the security system and loud conversations from the kitchen (and every doordasher/etc that showed up). The smell from the bathroom (that sewer gas smell) wafts into the dining room nearby... we switched tables to get less of it, but I would fix that? And light a candle? Service was friendly and fast enough, pretty empty though. Patio looked like it'd be lovely on a nice day (but it was raining so didn't partake). Food was great, beer was fine, interior renovations looked lovely (if not a bit cold and lacking that coziness you might want?). Better options in town but hopefully this helps the owners with a few of the finishing touches to...
