Was driving through Coburg and saw the Jamaica Flag. Had to stop and support, you dun know. Ordered 4 patties, came up to 13$. Was very impressed. The flavour of the patty and texture of the crust brought me right back to my childhood. This place makes the patties similar to how it was 35years ago in Jamaica, before Juici Beef and Tasties came on thes scene and became the standard. Patties were good size, had a lot of meat and sooo flaky. I must say I did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised.

Believe the reviews. Perfect amount of spice on the Curry Goat and Jerk Pork, the spicy beef patty is great aswell. Service is fast and friendly, and the selection of Caribbean drinks is impressive. Definitely a new local favourite.

MASTERCHEF Rohan is truly a man of extraordinary Jamaican Cuisine talent! The Jamaican Patty House, hands-down is the best family-owned & operated business in all of Cobourg, ON!

I've happily tried almost EVERYTHING on their diversified menu, and each and everytime, they have never failed to disappoint my family and I, as the food quality really continues to blossom, and electrify my taste buds ever so often!

It really & proudly reminds me, and is most definitely comparable to the Jerk Chicken and Rice that I've happily eaten everyday while on vacation in Saint-Ann, Jamaica!

May God, & the heavenly Lord continue to bless MASTERCHEF Rohan, and the rest of his wonderful & beautiful family with their impeccable, Jamaican Cusine...

So I'll start by saying the only thing we got were patties and Ting (both flavours)! The people working were here are very friendly and welcoming. The gentleman even used to work at the resort we were at in Jamaica this past spring. The lady we dealt with was super friendly as well. Originally, I bought one patty, and had to go back for 2 more and 2 drinks. They were stuffed full and delicious. Reminded me of being back in Jamaica they were that good. You would need to go to Scarborough to find patties this good in Ontario so for a small town, you are very lucky to have this business in your downtown core. Great work. We can't wait to come back and try the other dishes they serve!...

A Hidden Gem!

I had an amazing experience at Jamaican Patty House! I ordered the rice and peas with oxtail, and everything was absolutely on point. The portion size was generous, the rice was fresh, and the oxtail was incredibly tender — perfectly cooked with no excess fat, just pure flavor.

I also grabbed a spicy patty, and it was packed with flavor and the right amount of heat. You can tell they use quality ingredients and care about what they serve!

I’ll definitely be a frequent customer going forward. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving authentic Jamaican comfort food done...
